Sathya Sai School Children Advance to Reiki Level 2

On 4^th October 2019, LHSG Kenya taught Reiki Level 2 to the Grade 5 Children of Sathya Sai School in Uthiru, Nairobi. They had learned Reiki level 1 more than 6 months ago, so this Level 2 camp was long overdue. The school caters to the educational needs of the poor children in the Uthiru neighbourhood.

LHSG Kenya member Mamta Advani conducted this camp, assisted by LHSG member Neena Gupta. We also donated KSh 5000 to the Sathya Sai school Uthiru Trust.

Today the camp at Uthiru went very well. The children as usual were so sweet and waiting for us …… and very enthusiastic to learn Reiki Level 2 … we had 26 students and 2 teachers., total 28 …it was very smooth and the headmaster brother Sam was very welcoming … want to share a little incident …. It was 12.30 pm, lunch time …..I told them to go for lunch … all the kids left the class room … but one little boy came back …. He asked me if Reiki can bring back dead people … So I told him no .. and why are you asking …. His face dropped ….. I asked him, who did you want back … he said … my mother … it really broke my heart … I hugged him and told him … your mother’s love is always with you … a very touching moment …. And this little boy ….. you will be surprised to see in the video, how he was making his symbols in the air … when we told them to draw the symbols in the air … he was the one who drew them in the air with folded hands … and he knew all the answers … he was very much in touch with what is Reiki … he did all the healing and everything so well … all these experiences were soooo touching …. We really don’t know what is going on in the hearts and minds of these little children …. At the end, Brother Sam told us to come up and speak to the Grade 8 parents who had come for a meeting … he suggested that we open their minds to the idea of Reiki … on the whole, a very good day … Thank you for this beautiful seva opportunity ….

Today’s Reiki camp at Sathya Sai School went very well … the kids were very disciplined and keen to learn … they felt very happy to know that from now on they can send healing to people far away from them and to events that will be coming up …
