One more Reiki camp under our belt, and the world becomes enriched with 21 more Reiki healers!<\/p>\n
The venue was the Faraja Cancer Support Centre in Nairobi, the wannabe healers were cancer patients, carers, volunteers and therapists. We give our thanks to Shaira and Arwa of the FCSC, for their help and support in making this camp happen.<\/p>\n
Monica of LHSG Kenya had the brilliant idea of giving a Valentine\u2019s gift to the patients and other persons associated with Faraja Cancer Support Centre. Since Faraja does not open on weekends, and Valentine\u2019s Day fell on a Saturday, we booked the next Thursday 19th<\/sup> Feb. for this event.<\/p>\n As usual the origins of Reiki, the life of the Reiki masters, the chakra positions were explained and practiced. Then came the attunement, followed by a tea break, self healing and healing others.<\/p>\n All who came to learn were keen, attentive and very quick learners. By the end of the workshop, they were very comfortable with the energy, and confident of healing themselves and others.<\/p>\n The LHSG sevaks were Punita, Monica, Anuradha, Priya, Pratima and myself<\/em><\/strong>. For the umpteenth time we felt privileged to be instrumental in bringing Reiki into peoples\u2019 lives and witnessing the blossoming of new Reiki healers. Our Gratitude to God and the Universe for making us channels to make a change in peoples\u2019 lives.<\/p>\n A quick calculation tells us that with God\u2019s grace, to date, Lotus Healing Seva Group International has attuned 1502 people worldwide (and counting), to various levels of Reiki!
