Mumbai Seva No. 1<\/p>\n
On Saturday 11th<\/sup> September the Mumbai group consisting of Kamini, Kirti, and Palak<\/strong>, and the Kolkatta group consisting of Manisha, Arpita, and Priyanka, and I<\/strong> went to two centres: Vatsalya and the \u2018Om Creations Trust\u2019 in Mumbai. These centres are in the grounds of King George V Memorial grounds in Lower Parel.<\/p>\n Here the Om Creations Trust has a centre in which Down\u2019s\u00a0 Syndrome children and adults make art and craft articles for sale. The Vatsalya (Sanskrit for parental love) centre houses orphaned and street children. The Lotus Healing Seva Group gave individual Reiki healing to the children and adults of Down\u2019s syndrome. They all felt very \u2018good\u2019 after the treatment. Then we gave mass healing to the other children. We also had a talk with them about their interests like football, cricket, etc.<\/p>\n We ended the visit by making a donation of INR 5000\/= to the chairlady of the Trust and the Vatsalya Foundation, Swati Mukherjee. Swati asked us to extend the same Reiki healing to their centre in Mahim, another part of Mumbai.<\/p>\n And so it is that the LHSG India carried out its first 10th<\/sup> Anniversary Seva by sharing their Love and Light with challenged and underprivileged children and adults.<\/p>\n Kamal Tolia<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
