The centre consists of two small rooms run by Rizwan, a young man who is himself a graduate of the Vatsalya centre in Lower Parel. Here we were introduced to about 30 young children 5 – 17 years old. These children come from extremely poor backgrounds, are orphans, or from single parent street homes. The children come here after school in the afternoons. They are given some food and a little training in art by volunteers.

We were supposed to give them Reiki healing, but they were so interested in it that I started talking to them about chakras, energy, etc. They wanted to learn this healing art, so the next day, 15th September, I returned to attune them! Within 2 hours, these little angels were attuned, learned how to heal themselves and others! They were keen learners, and very clever too! Three adult volunteers joined in and also received the attunement.

The kids were so excited with the new found power in their hands! They promised to heal themselves very day and to heal their family members too! The love in the air was tangible!

At the end, the children were treated to biscuits, a cake and a juice packet.

And so it is that LHSG finished its 2nd Seva event of our 10th Anniversary celebrations!

Kamal Tolia

photos:

Vedios

Mumbai Seva 2 On September 14th, India member Kamini and I went to the Vatsalya centre in Mahim Mumbai.
