Gratitude, Gratitude, Gratitude! To God and the Universe for continuing to afford us, Lotus Healing Seva Group, wonderful opportunities to reach out to more and more disadvantaged people in our society.<\/p>\n
11th February saw us brave the heavy downpour in Nairobi to reach the Sai Seva School in the Kawangare slum of Nairobi, where 68 beautiful souls were awaiting us to lead them into the world of Reiki. They were split into two rooms and taught Reiki level 1 by Sheela<\/strong> and Kamal.<\/strong><\/p>\n The attunement and self healing was followed by a delicious lunch of vegetable burgers, chappati and milk, which they enjoyed very much. Then came healing others. Next they sang devotional songs of Sathya Sai Baba and and Shiv Yog. Finally, they were given snacks of fruitfull smoothies and biscuits.<\/p>\n The group consisting of 60 children, Mr Samuel<\/strong>, the Headmaster and 7 teachers loved the new energy in their hands, and did a great job healing themselves and their partners. By the end of the camp, they were all eager to go onto Reiki Level 2! We promised to do return to teach them Level 2 after a few months.<\/p>\n Many thanks go to Bubbles Sian<\/strong>, the patron of the school, and Heena Shah, Surbhi Shah, and Rita Pandit,<\/strong> also patrons of the school, and the Headmaster Mr Samuel who very kindly allowed us to extend our Reiki teaching and share our Love and Light in Sai Seva School.<\/p>\n TheLHSG sevaks that did this seva were Shariffa, Jean, Anuradha, Sheela, Neena, Shalini and Kamal.<\/strong> Kamal Tolia<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Neena<\/strong> …… Thank you kamal Aunty for yet another Seva opportunity. Today’s camp was very special for me as I did mass attunment for the first time. The energy of the place was very nice, the kids as well as the teachers attending the camp were very positive and disciplined . I was very amazed by the thoughts written on the blackboard and those were reflecting in the children’s behavior too. I am sure these kids will become great reiki healers. Looking forward now for the reiki level 2 camp in future<\/p>\n Sheela Shah \u2026.<\/strong> Shalini \u2026<\/strong>.. We reached the school after beating all the odds the rain , muddy and slippery road but after reaching the location one could feel the positivity all around. We met the bright cheerful children they bought warmth in our hearts Shariffa \u2026\u2026<\/strong>

\nMy immense gratitude for my first Reiki1 teaching experience. And it couldn’t have been at a more amazing school. Beautiful students, lovely teachers and an equally serene peaceful environment. For the opportunity and irreplaceable guidance; and Neena and Shalini for your unfailing support and contribution in making this camp a success. Once again Reiki’s magic made my day. I humbly hope I’ll be able to conduct Reiki II in this very special school.

\nKamalji <\/strong>conducted reiki 1 .The teachers and children were very receptive smart and intelligent. They followed the instructions as told. Lunch was served, you could tell they were well trained and organised. The second half of the session started with giving hands on healing to their partners.
\nThe day ended with a group photograph and snacks served to them.
\nThank you kamalji<\/strong> for always giving this wonderful opportunity to me n my sisters. SEVA always leaves me high for couple of days. Looking forward for doing reiki level 2 with these kids.<\/p>\n

\nSeeing those angelic faces
\nThe muddy slippery downhill slope
\nThe struggle up the mud roiled path
\nAll became a blessed path
\nTo yet another Lotus HEaling Seva Day
