LHSG is on the roll … ten days after finishing the first 12th Anniversay seva, we were at the Talia Aglers Girls Shelter<\/strong> teaching Reiki Level 1 to the girls and workers there. This is a shelter for abused, abandoned, trafficked and exploited girls. Nalina Roopani and  Mamta Advani, both LHSG Kenya,<\/strong> conducted this Reiki camp. ” We were supposed to do 18 yesterday, but we had 23, because some of the older gilrs decided to do level 1 again, and 3 of the staff, the caretaker and the people in the kitchen also joined in, it was very good \u2026. So except for the teacher, all of them learned \u2026 and they were all very happy \u2026. It was sad for us to see that the children this time were very small girls \u2026. from the age group of 10, 12 \u2026even 8 years old \u2026. Normally we used to have an older group of 15 \u2013 20 year olds and one or two would be small \u2026. This time most of them were these small little girls \u2026. And 2 of them, about 15 years old, were with small babies, and they did the whole course, were with their babies all the time \u2026.feeding them and learning as well \u2026 one of them was raped by the rebels in Congo. For a month she was locked up and raped \u2026 and that was her baby \u2026.. and another one was raped by the father \u2026. So it was sad because the organisers of the girls shelter said it\u2019s becoming more common that a family member was abusing the girls \u2026 either the father or uncle \u2026 a very sad state \u2026 so they really needed the healing and they were very good with it \u2026 because when we would ask them \u2026 have you finished \u2026 and they would say NO \u2026. They did the self-healing v well, and the partner healing went very well too \u2026 the mothers would hold their babies as other girls did the healing on them \u2026 then the other girls would hold the babies while the Mums did the healing on them \u2026 so they did the whole course very nicely \u2026.<\/p>\n

They loved the lunch of Vegetable pullao, roast potatoes and cabbage which had been sponsored by LHSG \u2026.. And all of them wanted to go on to Reiki Level 2 which we promised we would teach them a month later \u2026. ”<\/p>\n
