{"id":4934,"date":"2024-08-02T09:11:50","date_gmt":"2024-08-02T09:11:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kamaltolia.com\/?p=4934"},"modified":"2024-08-02T10:07:38","modified_gmt":"2024-08-02T10:07:38","slug":"reiki-level-2-training-at-faraja-cancer-support-centre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kamaltolia.com\/?p=4934","title":{"rendered":"Reiki Level 2 Training At Faraja Cancer Support Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Lotus Healing Seva Group<\/strong> has been associated with <strong>Faraja Cancer Support Centre<\/strong> in Nairobi since more than 10 years and with <strong>Hawkers Market Girls Centre<\/strong> for even longer.<\/p>\n<p>As we have been doing every year, earlier this year, in February, we had conducted a Reiki level 1 workshop for cancer patients, their care givers, therapists and volunteers associated with Faraja and, the girls of the HMGC. Come July, it was time to take them to the next level of Reiki.<\/p>\n<p>So, on 31<sup>st<\/sup> July, I carried out this training for 13 enthusiastic Reiki level 1 healers, some of whom were breast cancer survivors. I was assisted by <strong>LHSG sevaks volunteers Shariffa Keshavjee, (who is also the founder of HMGC), Deepu Mahajan and Anuradha Nath. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the attunement, they did self-healing with the symbols. Then, after a simple lunch of hondwo, sandwiches and tea \/ coffee, they settled down to learning the basics of Reiki level 2: sending distant Reiki, healing on a pillow, relationship healing, programming healing, blessing souls with Reiki, healing intentions in a Reiki box (envelope), and healing the Earth.
