{"id":4979,"date":"2024-10-19T14:25:26","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T14:25:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kamaltolia.com\/?p=4979"},"modified":"2024-10-19T14:36:58","modified_gmt":"2024-10-19T14:36:58","slug":"lhsg-19th-anniversary-event-seva-no-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kamaltolia.com\/?p=4979","title":{"rendered":"LHSG 19th Anniversary Event Seva No. 1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Just behind <strong>Mukuru Kenya Outreach Academy<\/strong>, the School that <strong>LHSG<\/strong> has been supporting, lies riparian land, through which the Ngong river passes. During the recent excessive flooding, the slum dwellers in this area had to relocate permanently. The place looked deserted, sad and uninteresting \u2026\u2026 but not for long! For the <strong>Head teacher Enock Nyanyanga and the Deputy head teacher Vincent Muema<\/strong> came up with the suggestion that we plant trees there.<\/p>\n<p>So we all went into action \u2026\u2026 <strong>Lotus Healing Seva Group International<\/strong> members sponsored 150 trees, and our <strong>Mukuru LHS(Y)G<\/strong> children very excitedly planted them all on 20<sup>th<\/sup> September! <strong>LHSG member Jashu Shah and I<\/strong> helped the children plant 3 trees in the school compound.
