House helps learn Reiki!

I taught Reiki first level to 4 of my lady house help. Since they did not have much free time, I taught them on two days, 2 hours each day. They learnt the first part on 7^th Jan. 2012.

Here are their experiences during the attunement.  One of them, Maya had pain in her neck which was healed immediatly, the other one felt a lightness in her body which she says is normally stiff , the third and fourth felt a cool breeze in their fingers. I told them to continue healing themselves for a week.

We met again on the 14 Jan. and I taught them the rest .They healed themselves and then on their partners. Both days we ended the class by eating a sweet meat shared by 4 of them.

Healing for Multiple Sclerosis

Meena Kothari is about 65 yrs old & has( MS )multiple sclerosis since 20 yrs.  In the month of December I got a call from my Guru Ram Mohanjee who asked me to give Reiki to Meena, since the right side of her jaw was in extreme pain.  Immediately I started praying and sent her Reiki (We know Meena for a long time My husband Nandu and I used to visit Meena. Nandu used to sing bhajans for her She is house bound).

Nandu and I went asap to Meena. She was in tears She had not brushed her teeth due to the pain for about 15 days. I gave her hands on Reiki saying mantras. We sat with her for a while and Nandu sang bhajans for her. After that I sent her  Reiki  for 8days and Meena rang up to say that she was much better.

I was thinking of giving her request to LHSG worldwide, but I did not get down to emailing. And then can u imagine, after another 8days Meena called to say that the pain had totally vanished and she asked me when she could start brushing.  I asked her to start with a baby brush and she did just that. But due to the pain she would brush only once a day she says it was so refreshing to be able to brush!!

On the 11th when we visited her she complained of numbness and difficulty in movement of her right side. Nandu LHSG India too has learnt Reiki and we both gave her  hands on Reiki inch by inch. However, in spite of the numbness, Meena was in a very good mood and smiling. Now she is going to brush twice like all of us. I continue to send Reiki to her not only distance of and on but a lot in thought form and prayers.

I have been very happy and thankful to Reiki for the great change in Meena Kothari.

Reiki presentation at The Sight challenged college

On 10^th Feb, I gave a Reiki presentation at the Kamala School for Blind Girls in Mumbai in Hindi. 60 girls and their teachers and Principal listened to the us expounding on what Reiki is and its benefits. LHSG members Nandu, Manisha also accompanied me, Manisha also giving hands on Reiki to some of the children. Plans are underway to hold a Reiki camp for the girls and the staff of the school

Healing at the hospital.

On the 13 th of Jan my husband Nandu( 1st level), also a LHSG member and I went to Parsi General hospital, Mumbai, to give healing to an old Parsi lady Abaan Ranina. She has MS(multiple sclerosis) There seems to be a tear at her diaphram whereby the lower organs are pressing on her lungs and she finds it difficult to breathe (that is haitus hernia). We did our best. She did open her eyes as if to acknowledge us.

True to our motto of sharing our Love and Light with all, we started the New year by doing Seva. In Nov. 2011, we had given hands on Reiki treatments to 6 mentally and physically challenged children and their Mums and sister. The conditions that the children had been diagnosed with were Down’s syndrome, Aspergus Syndrome, ADHD, Mentally retarded, Delayed Milestones, poor eyesight and poor leg coordination. We then placed them on our weekly healing request list for the month of Dec.
When we met them in the New year they had wonderful news to give us; they were sleeping better, were more relaxed, etc. We decided to continue giving them weekly Reiki treatments in January. They received them very well, and improvements were quick to follow …. The children’s concentration levels increased, they were getting over their shyness, even coming forward to express themselves more readily to their teachers, one girl, who could not walk unaided, started to walk on her own!!! and the mums were continuing to feel more relaxed, less tired, and sleep better, more energised.
And now, this is the best part …… they wanted to ‘learn’ Reiki themselves, and that included the special children! They wanted more of this lovely beautiful energy to heal themselves!
So, LHSG decided to attune these special souls to Reiki Level 1 in February. We knew we were entering uncharted terrain, but we were also confident that everything would go perfectly. We had full faith in Reiki and the Universe.
So, on February 4th 2012, armed with our faith and confidence, with love in our hearts, we attuned 6 special children, Janak, Anishee, Hirashee, Sarit, Vanisha, Khushal, 5 mums Ela, Rekha, Rita, Madhu, Daxa and one sister Darshi to Usui Reiki Level 1. After the attunement, they gave Reiki to themselves. Then a week later, on 11th Feb, they learned how to heal others. We made sure each session was for an hour and a half only, keeping in mind the nature of the children’s attention span.
Needless to say, we are overjoyed to know we have started the year 2012 in bringing love and light into the lives of people yet again! We give thanks to Reiki and the Universe for these wonderful opportunities of doing Seva!!
The sevaks that did this seva are: Fhanreet, Hita, Nishma, Simran, Adam, Amita, Dipti, Ushma, Vaishali, Tejal, Hardeep, Shobhna, Hema, Lata, Daksha, Sandeep, Harsha, Harleen and the LHSG Kenya (Sat).

December 2011 will go down in the History of Lotus Healing Seva Group as the month we established ourselves in Mumbai, India!

Kamini Asrani (LHSG India) and I gave two presentation on Reiki during which the healing benefits of Reiki were explained and mass healing was done for all participants. These events were held at the Times of India building and the Hindu Gymkhana on 26^th Dec and 27^th Dec respectively. The healing received by the participants had such fantastic and immediate results, that we had a flood of requests there and then to hold a Reiki workshop!

Accordingly, on 30^th Dec, LHSG opened its heart and the doors of the Spiritual Centre in Mumbai, to admit 58 men women and children to its first Reiki Level 1 Free Camp! Although the room was small, and we were a bit cramped, it did not in any way diminish the enthusiasm of the participants, which was literally palpable throughout the day. Lying down for the attunement also proved a challenge, as there was no way that all could be accommodated in a single room. There was excitement in the air as they spread out in 3 rooms and eagerly awaited their attunement. ‘AUM’ was chanted 3 times, to calm them down before the actual transfer of the attunement began.

After a break in which tea and refreshments were served, they did self healing, marveling at the new found Reiki power in their hands. After lunch, once again they had to spread out in the three rooms to do partner healing and group healing. But then we had another challenge coming our way. Apparently one of the rooms we were using had been booked at 3 pm by a ‘Bhajan’ (holy songs of worship) singing group. Luckily, by that time we had finished our healing and got back to our initial room. I was concerned about how I would continue teaching with singing going on next door, but to my surprise, it did not interfere in any way. So, to the background accompaniment of melodious voices singing Hindu bhajans of the Lord, we concluded the last part of the Reiki workshop.

By the end of the workshop, the participants had, (no surprises here) healing experiences to relate …… pains gone, acidity gone, more relaxed, asthma calmed. One of them, who had been chronically ill, felt pain free for the first time in years!

At 4.30 pm, their faces glowing with Reiki the happy participants and us did the ‘Circle of Love and Prayers’. Seeing the joy on their faces, my heart too was filled with joy and gratitude. I was humbled and grateful that yet again, I had been given this beautiful opportunity to be an instrument of the Lord / Universe to do his / her work of spreading Love and Light through the power of Reiki!
