Seva: Free Reiki Booster Attunements Worldwide 1st Dec.

Our last Seva for our 6^th anniversary celebrations was to offer Free Reiki booster attunements to Reiki channels worldwide. This happened on 1^st December 2011. For this purpose, Reiki Master Teachers Ayala, Monica, Nalina, Laxmi, Prafulla and I met together to send  Distant Reiki Attunements.

In all, 167 attunements were done, at various levels of Reiki: 1, 2 and 3A. The people that benefitted from these free attunements were our LHSG members, their families and friends  from all over the world: New York USA, UK, UAE, India, Democratic Republic of Congo, The Netherlands, Israel, Iceland, Romania, South Africa, Canada, Tanzania and of course Kenya.

A Reiki Booster Attunement has a twofold effect. If you are a regular Reiki practitioner, it enhances your healing power. If you have not been practicing regularly and hardly feel the flow of Reiki in your hands, it re introduces Reiki in your life. In both cases, you are healed even as you get attuned. We thought that sending attunements was a befitting way to do Seva for all us Reiki and Light workers worldwide, who normally are so busy healing the world, they hardly have time to heal themselves!

Harsha LHSG Sat. ……. I would like to thank you for the attunement yesterday , it was amazing as always felt lots of heat and lots of energy thank you all very much for the same.

 Kamini LHSG India …… Hi. Aum. I would like to share my experience I lay down in bed at 7 am (the choosen time) First I felt a shower of light which was entering me through the centre of my head (the bindu chakra) it was passing through my whole body and exiting from my feet as though clearing me. This went on for 2or3 mins after which the flow of light stopped going out of my feet and so started filling me up .When I was filled up the light energy started flowing through my hands this too continued for a while and then the inflow became stronger and stronger till it was a river of light energy and I (Kamini) was not there at all This went on for awhile and then slowly it came to a stop. I got up in a while and did my meditation, Reiki healing and prayers. Thanks, Love

Anamaria LHSG Romania …. I want to tell you that :  I saw like ”sky opening” and I received a lot of light, like beams and very delicate petals of pure light, like” patching” my body, in a magnificent way. I saw also a very frowned figure (like curios and angry), but I told him that I love him and he disappeared and instead I started to see a lot of green light. Vaishali LHSG Kenya Sat. ….. The Reiki Booster Attunement was amazing, the minute my time was up I could feel the crown and agya chakra started tingling, hencewhen I lay on my back on the bed I felt this warmth over come me and the whole body. Soon after a little while my body all of a sudden disappeared from below me and all I could sense was my head. After which I could feel myself floating in the mist of clouds high above the planet earth. Like I was in some other world where I felt peace and very light, like I wasn’t carrying any burdens, that I was free from everything…It was the most amazing feeling I had, I just float around sensing this powerful energy entering me and there was a lot of white light that surrounded me. I must say that i slept very well that night….. I would like to thank you and all the other members that took part in this. From my side I am very grateful and appreciate the positive energy that was sent to me…… Much love and Light

Dear Kamal and your lovely team  (Monica, Ayala, Nalina, Prafulla and Laxmi) ….Thank you all so much for your precious contribution in manifesting the beautiful Reiki Booster Attunements. …. Just before the appointed time I prepared myself and my room and waited.   At precisely 10 am (my chosen time)   I immediately knew that the attunement had begun because I felt a pulsating wave of energy around my body and I felt myself grow lighter – almost weightless.    This lasted only for a few moments and then I felt a tremendous feeling of love in my heart as if it would burst.   I also saw a beautiful colour of very pale mauve.    After that it all leveled out and I just felt very peaceful. It was a wonderful experience and I feel truly blessed to have received this attunement….. For Kirti :  It was very very good n I could immediately feel when it started… I had flashes of purple light, in proper rhythm… It was for a long time… Heaviness in the forehead…

I could feel something going in my head from the crown chakra, as if some power…

It was in white colour… And like all the attunements, this time also the same vision – left side sea n right side mountain…The water blue colour and the mountains of rock-brown colour… Saw it as I m sitting on the shore, alone…

For Palak : It was heavy in forehead but yet the feeling was of calmness… Flashes of light…

 For Maitri : It was very heavy in the heart chakra… After a few mins it was getting difficult for her to stay still… She felt congestion in chest n heaviness…

This was making disturbing her n so was getting distracted but stayed till she felt it was over… Thank you very much Aunty and to others from all 3 of us…. God bless You and all those who did this superb Seva of giving booster attunements to all of us, everywhere… Thank you,

Hita LHSG Kenya Sat…. Reiki Booter Attunement was so nice and wow !!!! I have no words…. I felt so calm, lots of white light flowing and there was like a ring moving around crown chakra with so much speed. Then I sent the Reiki to mother earth and as usual it was flowing nonstop… Love and Light

Raj LHSG Kenya Thursday….. Dear Kamal ……  As you are aware I hardly get any experiences, but on the 1st was just out of the world. … I had asked for that time as I am always in my pray room, this time I felt you came up with a flame of white in your hand and this you placed in the middle of my forhead. … Then a few minutes later the whole attuners were standing and are pouring water from jugs onto the whole world, the water kept pouring and this went on for a while. …. That whole day I just felt my head was very light and I was just feeling so blissful and have never felt like this…. Then throughout that day, 1st December, I was bursting with love in my heart and I just wanted to hug everyone I saw!!!…. It was so uncontrollable that I first asked all my morning yoga class to hug themselves, then when I saw my house help in the morning I gave her a hug!!!…. Just felt like hugging everyone!! …. Thank you all.

Krista LHSG Holland …..The booster attunement was great. It’s like magic, every time again and again. I felt it very strongly. In fact, I was still busy lighting candles and getting ready at the agreed time when I felt it coming. I had to quickly down and let it come over me completely. I have been feeling very clear in my mind and body since that day. I feel very healthy, if that makes sense… My daughter Kat,  (9years) got her attunement while she was sleeping at night. She woke up with a grand smile and told me she had had wonderful dreams. She had dreamt she received great grades for all of her subjects, which made her very happy. …. So all very good experiences. Priti Mehta LHSG UAE …. Thanks for sending me Reiki booster attunements. It was a great experience. First 10 min I was just lying down but after that I feel that rainbow light was entering into my body through my scalp and it was a wonderful experience. After that I was in deep meditation. GREAT!!!!!!!  EXPERIENCE.

Seva No. 2 Reiki Level 2 Camp, 19^th Nov 2011

LHSG Kenya (Thursday, Saturday and Tuesday Group) continued the celebrations by holding yet another Reiki level 2 camp on 19^th November, for the Slum people in Nairobi. Like all previous camps it was a successful affair!

30 people were initiated into the Level 2 Reiki energy at the Ram Mandir Hall in Parklands. There were men, women and children, the youngest being 7 years old. Needless to say, the Lotus Healing Seva Group felt privileged to do this Seva for these underprivileged people. Some of these people had had very little schooling. Although they found the symbols challenging, they did very well.

A group of them had been meeting every week after Completing Reiki Level 1 to heal each other, their friends, neighbours and family. They had even been ‘sending’ Reiki to their families up country in Kenya …… with wonderful results! They did this without any knowledge of Reiki Symbols! This just goes to prove that WHEN YOU HEAL WITH LOVE, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!

Seva No 4: Reiki healing and presents to the children in the oncology wards, Kenyatta National Hospital 27 Nov 2011

On Sunday 27th November a group from the Saturday Lotus Healing Seva group plus Jean and Dee from the Thursday group went to visit the children’s Oncology wards at the Kenyatta National Hospital to give the children Reiki and some lovely gifts of story books, colouring and activity books and crayons. We also gave them some toothpaste and pampers. When she arrived Kamal said she thought we had far to many presents and we wouldn’t need them all. Well that was definitely not the case, it turned out to be like the feeding of the 5 thousand!!

This visit was organised by Shamim from the Saturday group and she had arranged with Mr Ithai to meet us and show us around the wards. He met us along with quite a few of his colleagues who also escorted us.

The first ward we visited was the ” Israeli” ward  because all the renovations had been paid for by the Israeli Embassy. However all except 3 of the children had gone off to church. We spoke to the remaining children and gave them some presents, then we gave them Reiki. The other children from this ward were out side after Church and some were playing football, but others were quite ill in wheel chairs. They were very excited to be given books and colours and they received a lot of Reiki from us. Many photographs were taken and they sung us a lovely song.

At this point we did not realise we had 4 more cancer wards to visit in the main part of the hospital! This was a very different experience because there were just so many little children running around everywhere. They wanted to touch us and see what we were carrying and they kept trying to open the bags of gifts. We were ushered into the first ward which contained about 10 cots, each with 2 sick little children in. Apart from the patients there were many siblings and relatives all crammed into the small room and many other children were trying to get inside the ward especially when we started to give out the presents we had. It was very difficult to know who were the patients and who were the visitors. We were then taken to the next ward where much the same thing happend. As we left each ward we gave some Reiki to each room.

We were still being followed by all these tiny little people desperate for a book who were told they could not have one unless they were on their bed, however this instruction fell on deaf ears! After the 2nd ward we realised we had nearly run out of presents so Kamal and some of the other ladies decided to give the last few things to the children who were in the corridor, which caused a near riot!!!  We who were at the back quickly started giving Reiki to the situation and it calmed down, thankfully before poor Kamal was mobbed!

It was a chastening experience for us all to see so many sick children and I think we all wished we could have done more. We felt the hospital was quite clean and considering how many sick children there were the staff were doing a great job of caring for them.

Thank you for organising the visit Shamim and I think it made us all realise that we need an unending supply of gifts if we are going to repeat the trip!

Sandeep LHSG Saturday….The visit to KNH/Children’s ward was full of emotions for me. An eye opener and 2 lessons I took home, once again: “don’t take it for granted” and “learn to count blessings than complaining for what is missing”. Those kids despite their medical/physical situation were full of light and smiles. Today, I value even more the words we were taught in Reiki Level 1 “Just for today I will live the attitude of gratitude”.

Shobhna LHSG Saturday ….The visit to KNH to oncology children’s ward on sunday was amazing. In spite of their illnesses most of the children were very warm and cheerful souls. It was a sheer pleasure to offer them seva with love and light. I felt bad for not having enough presents for them. But we did  not  know their exact numbers.My apologies to those souls who were totally  disappointed and showed it by crying loudly for not getting  a  colouring book or crayons. We can feel other person’s pain when we  visit such places. As a rule we take too much for granted. I have put these children in my list for healing on a daily basis.

Dipti Haria LHSG Saturday …… the Sunday Seva was a very gratifying and humbling experience.  There is no better feeling than knowing we have made a positive impact on  these very special children s’ lives.  We should continue helping these wonderful children and giving them Reiki on a continuous basis.

Seva No 3. Healing Special Children and their Mums and Sisters., 26 Nov. 2011

On Saturday 26^th November 2011, the LHSG Kenya Saturday, Thursday and Youth Groups gathered in Sandeep’s house for the second Seva in the celebratory month of November. And what Seva was that? To give Hands on Reiki healing to mentally and / or physically challenged youngsters and their Mums and sisters.

The visitors arrived at about 3.30 pm. Kamal Tolia introduced the Lotus Healing Seva Group and its activities, and Ela Shah, the wonderful lady who runs the day care for these children in her house, introduced herself and the others. One of the children, Janak, had just had his birthday the day before, and wanted everybody to sing for him, so we all sang ‘Happy Birthday’.

Chairs were arranged in a circle in Sandeep’s lovely, picturesque front yard. After the children and their mums were seated, Lotus Healing Seva Group members went to work in pairs. Some gave Reiki to the children, while others gave healing to the mums and sisters. All took a lot of healing, the children even commenting on how hot the practitioner’s hands felt. Even the Mums said they felt sooooo good and relaxed after the treatment.

Tea and tasty snacks prepared by Sandeep and Clara were served after the treatment. The children had brought chocolates of different flavours which they had made themselves! They shared them with everybody. The chocolates were delicious, and enjoyed by all!

We felt very privileged to be healing these special children, and very humbled to be chosen for this task. So moved were we by this experience, that we wanted to repeat the healing for them on Saturdays and also teach them Reiki so they could heal themselves too. The visitors welcomed these ideas enthusiastically. These plans will be effected in January next year. In the meantime, we have placed them in our healing lists, so they will receive healing every week.

Ela …. Dear Kamal Tolia and the Lotus Healing Seva Group, 

On behalf of my special children and their mothers, I would very much like to say a big thank you to all the Saturday group for having us and specially Mrs. Sandeep Bhambra who hosted the session at her place and for the lovely tea….. To us you were like an angel, sent by God above, to cleanse our soul of sadness and stress and fill it with love and relaxation. You were our inspiration and we thank you all for showing us the way to better natural healing abilities….. Your caring concern and the love you showed us, the whole world I would tell, what your friendship, and love means to us. Taking time to help us was a very nice thing to do. I know that you are people who sacrifice for others without thinking. Thank you…. I, Ela Shah would like to share how the first Reiki session helped my two daughters, Anishee and Hirashi that day. They both have disturbed sleep normally but that night they both went to sleep early and they slept throughout till next day 11am. In fact they had to be woken up from their deep sleep. It was like after a very long long time they had a peaceful sleep. It was really amazing…. Rekha, mother of Sarit had also this to say: Both she and her son Sarit had a very peaceful sleep that night, …something they had not experienced for a long, long time! …… Words can’t express the gratitude I feel when I think about what you all have done. I will say thanks for the support and concern and thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us. It has helped us immensely and the spark in us. Thank you

Sandeep …. Happiness always looks small if you hold it in your hands,
but when you learn to share it, you will realize how big and precious it is.
We are grateful that our home was chosen to give healing to those special kids.

Raj …. The gift of doing sewa on the special youngsters was a great bonus. These youngsters were so receptive to Reiki and actually were happy at the end. You could see that some of them were asking for more Reiki on certain parts of their bodies. There was nothing but love flowing from their eyes and how easily they accepted us and called us a family…… I certainly felt very blessed that we were fortunate enough to do this great sewa.

Shobhna ….   I   think  it  was  a  wonderful  opportunity and a very touching  experience    to  offer  seva  on  Saturday  to  the  mentally  and  physically  challenged  children  who  had  come  with  their  mothers. I  salute  the  mothers  who  are  doing  so  much  for  these children  round  the  clock. It  was  a  continuous  flow  of  energy of  love  and  light  going  to  the  Children. I  was  very  happy  to  offer  seva  to  them  and  was  most  impressed  by  Janak (one  of  the  children in  that  group) who  said  his  prayers before  starting  to  have  his  snack  given  to  him  by his mum. Janak  also  invited  myself  and  Tejal  to  go  to  the yacht  club  for  his  birthday  party  and  he  insisted  we  are  all  a  family. I  feel  he  must  have  sensed  the  love  we  showed  him. God  bless  them  all. I  feel  we  should  offer  seva  of  reiki  to  them  on  regular  basis.

Hardeep …. It touches ones heart when one sees these children and how beautiful and innocent they are…..It was an eye opener for me and made me realize that we should constantly thank God instead of complaining about irrelevant things..

Dipti Haria ….. the Saturday Seva was a very gratifying and humbling experience.  There is no better feeling than knowing we have made a positive impact on  these very special children s’ lives.  We should continue helping these wonderful children and giving them Reiki on a continuous basis.

Hita …… I was so pleased that I was given an opportunity to do seva on 26th November. I felt so good and energetic after the seva. It was a special connection with those kids like a family.
