Our next 18th anniversary Seva was done by our little healers of Mukuru Outreach Kenya Academy, our LHS(Youth)G branch! They went on an educational trip to the Bomas of Kenya, a Cultural Centre in Nairobi, where they enjoyed the show, interacted with other Kenya School children, AND did Reiki Healing and Blessing Seva of the trees and vegetation, a few animals like the warthogs and birds. the centre has little mud houses, symbolic of the dwellings of our Kenyan ancestors. Our little healers healed their ancestors that have passed away, by sending Reiki to these symbolic dwellings! It was a very sweet and thoughtful thing to do!

Many thanks go to the School Head and Deputy Head Enock Nyananga and Vincent Muema, for arranging this trip and seeing it through. Thanks also go to the teachers that helped during the trip.

The trip to the Bomas of Kenya was totally a success. The children were able to send Reiki to the trees, birds and some wild animals like monkeys and warthogs. They also did send Reiki to the ancestors who lived in the diverse traditional homesteads famously known as Bomas in Swahili.

The children enjoyed a lot by playing football which they’d carried along. They were highly entertained by the traditional dancers from various kenyan communities as they danced along to the musical accompaniment. They had fun trying out the different traditional regalia and curios They had room to interact with their counterparts from various schools in attendance and took the opportunity to make friends and share their academic progress. From the stories they recounted on our way home, I can tell they’ve a lot to share with their parents and friends back at home.

Lotus Healing Seva (Kenya) Group has been involved with Mukuru Outreach Kenya Academy for more than 8 years. We have been sponsoring more than 50 children for their school fees, getting them books, desks, etc. AND very importantly, we have been training the children and staff in Reiki Level 1 and 2. They practice Reiki and use it in their lives effectively, and therefore have become LHSG Mukuru Members! Accordingly, they too celebrate our Anniversary every year.

For our 18^th Anniversary this year, they did a Reiki hands on healing session for their parents on Saturday, 23^rd September. … 102 Reiki children healers, gave Reiki to about 100 parents! We had made LHSG badges for all of them, which I was told they wore proudly as they did the Reiki healing!

Please read the report of the Headteacher Enock Nyananga and the Deputy Head Vincent Muema, both of whom work very hard to keep the practice of Reiki alive in Mukuru.

Yesterday’s Reiki session for our grade 4,5,6 and 8 parents was a big success. Owing to the observations of most parents on how they felt better after going through all the chakras, I can note that they received it well and plan to continue encouraging their children and themselves to do it at home.

It was a good idea seeing those parents who had their first experience in high spirits on realising that there’s an alternative natural way of healing themselves without having to necessarily resort to costly remedies in hospitals.

I believe that our community is getting to know better the value of Reiki. Together we can make a big difference going forward.

Hello, Namaste! I am Vincent from Mukuru Outreach Academy ,a teacher and a Reiki healer. On 23rd September 2023(Saturday), a Reiki programme was carried out in our school and specifically it was done to our parents by our very own pupils who are proud Reiki healers too. A total of 100 parents attended the session and with the help of my school Headteacher Mr Enock and my Reiki healers (pupils), the session was a success. Our pupils having learned Reiki they were ready to show us the fruits of what we have been teaching them since 2017.Our parents later after the session were full of happiness to testify how helpful Reiki was to them. Many came there complaining of body fatigue, headache and stress but to our surprise after the healing they all testified of positive results. The headeche was no more, body fatigue was no more and they felt relaxed and this could be seen from their beaming faces.

I also realised, that many of the parents were familiar with Reiki, it was not new to them . .  which means, they had been receiving Reiki from their kids at home!!!

On behalf of Mukuru fraternity I express my gratitude to the Lotus Healing Seva Group for this Natural way of way of healing. Thank you very much and may the Almighty God bless you abundantly.

And now the parents’ testimonies ….

Parent 1: He’s saying that he felt some energy flow through his body which almost made him sleep. The whole process was nice since it left him refreshed. He’s also thankful for the sponsorship that his child got.

Parent 2: He’s appreciating the great work Mukuru is doing to mould children in line with Reiki. The teachers have succeeded in training children spoken language and now he understands why. It’s due to Reiki

Parent 3: She’s reiterating that the parents who were engaged in Reiki for the first time shouldn’t think that it’s a bad thing by associating it with illuminati and other Satanic things. Reiki is a good thing which has come to help.

Parent 4: She’s urging parents to embrace Reiki and seek mental help because according to him Reiki can help them in healing them mentally.

Parent 5: She’s testifying on how Reiki has helped her heal instantly because when she arrived at school, she wasn’t feeling well-she had a headache and eventually she felt better after being given Reiki.
