It is with great pleasure that I write this. LHSG International Group has been associated with the Hindu Refugee children in Adarsh Nagar Hindu Refugee Camp in Delhi, India, for the past few years. They had been taught Reiki Level 1 a few months ago, and were ready for Reiki Level 2 training. They had been healing themselves and others with very good results, and were very excited to learn more. 

And so it is that on 11th June, with the big help of our LHSG India member Vikram Lalvani, who is also their teacher, I carried out the first session of the training and on 18th June I did the second session. The children were a bright chirpy lot, very quick with their responses and equally quick in learning! They now have the symbols for sending Reiki for various issues like healing for diseases, healing relationships, for souls that have passed away, to heal Mother Earth, and to heal their intentions. They are now a very empowered lot, ready to heal the world! 

At the end of the sessions they were treated to a samosa, flavoured milk and a fruit.

My immense gratitude to Vikram, without whom this training would not have been possible at all.

LHSG UK Reiki Seva at Oshwal Centre UK

I am very happy to write this. Our LHSG UK Members took part in a wellness fair, giving Reiki to the public that come there every year. Kindly read on for their report and watch the small video that follows.

On 11th June , Lotus Healing Seva Group UK, took part in A well-being fair at the Oshwal Centre, UK, from  10 am -4pm . 

When we got to the centre, clients had already pre-booked  healing sessions online. These are the LHSG UK healers that attended the fair to do Reiki healing: Bena Shah, Bharti Nandy, Mona Joshi, Jasu Shah, Anita Shah & Bijan Popat .

We gave  Reiki to 66 people. It was a mixed crowd of young & elderly . All the clients gave very positive feedback. Some had emotional issues due to loss of a loved one, some had come just to try Reiki as never had treatment before, some had knee & back issues. Some with mobility issues after long term illnesses .

We as a group are very grateful for this sewa opportunity.

 The first patient (57 yrs), whom I treated was very emotional and had to be reassured that crying is part of the healing process. There had been two deaths in her family.  She had sudden sensation in her right calf and she felt that her calf which had been sore started to feel relaxed and healed. She was quite touched by the whole experience.

Another elderly man (67), had pain in the left area of his head. This area was more concentrated on and It needed extra healing.

An elderly man (83 yrs), who had lost his spouse 7 months back had lost his way. Has becomes forgetful, and is losing confidence.

There were quite a few patients who needed treatment on their lower back and knees. Some patients came just to experience the miracle of Reiki healing and were happy to have been explained the benefits of this non-invasive form of therapy.

It was an honour to do Reiki seva for people at Oshwal Centre.  We gave many people healing most of them new. They came to get the experience of Reiki. Before l started l explained to each one what is Reiki and what they can feel or experience. After getting the healing most of them felt very calm, relaxed and joyful. Everyone thanked me and said “you are all doing a great job for humanity.” One person came back to me before we closed for the day to say to me “thank you after getting the healing from me, he thinks his third eyes has been opened and he can see better, lots of bright lights coming to him. I also thanked him. and Benaben and the organisers for their kindness and hard work to fulfil my dreams. Lots of unconditional love and gratitude.

Very grateful to have had the opportunity to give Reiki healing Seva at the Oshwal Centre. I would like to thank the Committee and Benaben for organising this. Everyone that I gave healing to, said that they felt deeply relaxed and this was apparent from the expression on their face, which was beaming with a smile. One young lady felt a lot of energy in her body throughout the session and the pain in her right knee had gone. Another young gentleman had requested healing for his back. Once the healing session was completed, his back was feeling much better and also his shoulders were extremely relaxed which, he later mentioned had been very tense.

I teamed up with Jasu Aunty. Most of the clients on the Day had quite a few Health Issues: Digestive system, Knees, Swelling of Ankles, Back pain.. . . Mostly Stress Related.

I found quite a few young clients were open and very reception (age 40-50+). I did mention what and how Reiki works and helps in our everyday Life. All felt some energy vibrations in different areas of the body.

I am so privileged and proud to be part of our Reiki family of UK and International too.

And lastly, our long standing Kenya member, healer-poetess Shariffa Keshavji, from whom Reiki and poetry simply flow and flow …… together in equal measure …… honours Mother Earth in her own special inimitable way …… through 2 poems, no less!

My tribute to Mother Earth ….

We are ever grateful Mother Earth

We place our feet on Mother Earth

You never fail us dear Mother Earth

Leaves spiraling down in dance to Earth

Colours so varied come to join the Earth

Dew drops like diamonds come from Earth

We are only transient here on Earth

So we give Reiki, do good while on Earth

Lotus group makes strong this Earth

For we may not traverse again this Earth

Celebrate the morning light full of mirth

The sun ablaze to bathe this Earth

The sun warms Mother Earth it’s need

Breaks the sky into bronze and rust indeed

We give obeisance in prayer we bid

In our breath and word and every deed

Place crystals all directions in every bed

Invoking high energy for all who need

Then at night in gratitude the dusky Earth

Shades of warm peach turn dark the Earth

A signal to join in prayer, repose on Earth

The circadian rhythm, balanced on Earth

Mother Earth

When we think of Mother Earth

Full of innovation is Mother Earth

Embracing us just as mother does

Unconditional and ever present for us

This Mothers Day  she whispers of rain

Makes the birds hide and appear again

The asphalt bursts in sparks silver rain

The rain drops bounce off into the drain

Now  andante, now piccolo fall the rain

How I love the rhythm of the falling rain

It rises to a crescendo trees falls

Roots to the sky and lies supine boles

The wind dies and the moan stops

Back to Mother Earth the tree goes

Other trees pick up the rhythm in a shiver

Plays the melody like an unending river

The gust of soil and debris all heaves

And I hear the rain drops in my eves

Thank you Gaia for your presence ever

Dharti Mata giving up on us? Never !

Your bosom heaves air changed forever

The scent of champa roses and clover

The scent of wet soil is balm to the world

Healing all sentient beings it wafts toward

So hushed and quiet earth moves forward
