Greening the Earth is one of the goals of Lotus healing Seva Group. We have been doing it the LHSG Way, with Reiki and Hindu Mantras, since 2012!
This year, as one of our 20th Anniversary Celebrations, LHSG members donated a total of 318 trees, which were distributed in three Hindu Refugee camps in India. Planting here served a triple purpose:
We gave back to Mother Earth
The trees planted would grow to beautify and purify the dreary atmosphere in the refugee camps
The fruit trees would bless the refugees with fruits, so providing the much needed nutrition.
The first place was the Hindu Refugee camp in Adarsh Nagar, Delhi. I connected on line with our Delhi member Vikram Lalwaniand children members, and guided them in the collective planting. Visualising the holes as one hole, doing Ho’oponopono with Mother Earth, visualizing all trees as one tree, then going through all the steps, including thanking Van Devi, the Goddess of the Forests, all trees and all the creatures in the forests.
Vikram Lalwani also repeated the process a few times, as they planted 40 trees in the pathshala (1 classroom school) area. The children also took a tree each, to plant around their tin shacks homes.
I repeated the same process with our Jaisalmer, India Member Ranjharam and children members. They too planted many trees our Reiki way, in the desert soil of Rajasthan.
Lastly, Vikram Lalwani helped to plant more trees in Signature Bridge camp, another Hindu refugee camp in Delhi. The children here are not Reiki healers, but just look at the enthusiasm they show for the planting exercise! A joy to watch!
In early July, a fire razed the homes of many in the Mukuru Sinai informal settlement in Nairobi. It happened just outside the school we have been supporting: Mukuru Outreach Kenya Academy. The fire razed many homes as well as the boundary wall of the school. . .
And what did our Reiki Community do? Of their own accord, Enock, the Head teacher and Vincent the deputy head, both Reiki healers, gathered together the Reiki children healers, stood facing the burnt down remnants of the houses, and . . . . Reiki Blessed the place, and all affected by the inferno. . . They did this trauma healing on three days following the fire, have decided to do it for more days. . Look at the seriousness and total absorption with which the 94 Children and 4 teachers do the healing. Even the noise of the remaining 300 other children in the background posed no distraction. . .

LHSG Kenya Mukuru Member: Enock Nyananga Headteacher, Mukuru Outreach Kenya Academy. When our neighbours’ properties were gutted down by the raging fire that night, we fought it harder as the Mukuru community so that it doesn’t extend to our school. Though the school fence was brought down, we firmly believe the Reiki healing that we normally invoke worked miracles. Our school was well protected by this strong weapon.
Our children, who have passionately transformed quickly into Reiki Healers, the following day, drew our attention to send healing to all the affected families. We promptly arranged for it in our morning assembly and it was satisfactorily done.
We’re thankful because one of our parents who was affected is beginning her life afresh from scratch and Reiki has already come in handy for her and her two young daughters who are our children. One a Reiki warrior herself.
We tremendously appreciate the transformative role Reiki is playing in our school community.

Seva No. 88: Blessing the waters in Norway.
LHSG Kenya Member Bindi Shah: 28th June, Hardanger National Park in Bergen, Norway. Wherever you see, there was water everywhere, in all directions. It’s like God has given them everything in abundance and they actually value it, treasure it, and make sure it remains pure, available and clean. In contrast, I felt saddened as I remembered the imbalance of water in the world, so giving Reiki to the water in front of me came naturally and to many other waterfalls that came my way. My Reiki blessing was for: May these waters flow equally all over the world, and spread joy and abundance. May it continue to bless this country and all the other countries. I also chanted the Rivers mantra over and over.

Seva no. 89: Reiki blessings for children and babies in a rescue centre in Kenya
On 3rd July, LHSG Kenya members Jaya, Shalini, Abhilasha, Pallavi and Kamal did a Reiki seva at a Childrens Rescue Centre.
The children here, 45 in number, aged from a few months old to 9 years, have been rescued from abusive households / found abandoned / whose Mums are in prison, and sadly, there was even one, a surrogate baby, rescued from a couple that were trying to smuggle her across our border into a neighboring country.. . .
To begin with, the children were very noisy and were not settling down, so we blessed them with Reiki, and also tried to engage them with some nursery songs. We continued blessing them with Reiki, as they were having the milk and mandazis. The trauma was palpable. And they so lacked the love of a human touch. Many of them wanted to be picked up and cuddled. As I spoke to them in Kiswahili, they kept telling me in Kiswahili, with their arms outstretched and uplifted. . Bebe bebe . . which means …. carry me, carry me . . Abhilasha was very good, she carried even the hefty ones!
We were taken to their sleeping rooms, where there were other babies, which we also gave Reiki to. The babies we carried didn’t want to be put back in the cots . . . . We felt sad, but at the same time grateful that we cud add a few moments of joy in their little lives. . .

Once Shalini made all the children sit down then they were very receptive while receiving Reiki. Some of them just wanted to be held, so it was very difficult to put them down. I realised that we are so busy in our lifestyles that we forget that a simple hug or talking to these children can also make them so happy. When I picked up 1 child then the other, other one also wanted the same. It is so heart wrenching to see that the children just wanted to be held. It became very upsetting when I had to put the baby back in the cot and she started crying.
But I am very happy that I could do something for them. Then we gave Reiki from far.
We also gave Reiki to 4 of the staff. Overall it was a very heart touching seva and I am grateful for the opportunity.

LHSG Kenya Member: Shalini Srivastava: It was a beautiful seva day, but this seva made me realise that we take everything for granted: a good family life, the love and warmth we share, these little kids have missed all this .They were longing for our attention and love .They didn’t want to leave our hands wanted our love. I’m so happy and grateful that we could share our love and light with them. God bless these little ones.

In early June, I gave hands on healing to a little child Devansh suffering from SMA 2 condition. Devansh cannot crawl, stand or walk due to muscle atrophy as his muscles at the waist and below are nearly dead. His condition is called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 2, a rare, progressive genetic disorder that weakens muscles and can slowly take away his ability to walk, eat, or even breathe.
When I started giving healing to him while in his grandmother’s lap he started crying as he is getting scared at having been taken to so many doctors. But, soon he settled down and even smiled at me and greeted me saying “Hari Aum”.
I am aware that my one session of physical healing is not sufficient but as a healer it would be a failing on my part to not do this much hence I had to do this as it was a calling for me. I also sent out a Reiki intention that he receives the special injection he needs to be healed completely from this condition.

Saturday 21st June 2025 is the 1st day of Summer Solstice in the UK.
My Seva is all about the terrible Wars that are savaging our Planet with Humans fighting Humans between many different countries resulting in thousands of deaths of Soldiers and civilians, destroying homes and hospitals all because of greed and those wanting to be ‘Top Dog’. There is also the terrible threat of Some of those countries acquiring Atomic nuclear Bombs to Devastate many nations. I visited a “War Cemetery” (Photos shown) which hold the bodies of Soldiers killed in war and My Seva intentions is to send Reiki Healing to all the Souls who have been killed in direct war combat and also all the civilians killed due to Bombs dropping on their cities. Whilst in this Cemetery I sent Reiki to all the Souls affected by these terrible deaths not only the Soldiers, but their loved ones too. I also sent Reiki to Mother Earth (Lady Gaia) because of the “Killing Fields” which She has to endure due to the Bombs dropping on her and the Land Mines planted in her soil. My prayer intentions are:
Ho’oponopono to dear Mother Earth for the suffering of the killing fields, bombs and Land Mines imploding upon her. As humans we know not what we do. 2. Reiki to all Souls killed as a result of War and that ArchAngel Azrael (known as the Bereavement Angel ) is the Angel that takes all Souls to the Light to receive Love and Healing, and his team of Angels give love, healing and support to their family and loved ones. 3. Reiki to all Souls of every Nation wounded by Violence and Fractured by Division. Removing “Hate” from peoples Heart and replaced with infinite Love. 4. Calling in the Violet Flame to transmute negative energy and to purify the Souls of all.
All of the above prayers are ongoing every day for 5 years

We joined Bhakti Marga’s tree planting event. We told the group about the LHSG method of planting trees with Reiki and Hindu Mantras. We guided them through these, whilst deputy high commissioner of India was planting the first bamboo trees.
We explained about asking for forgiveness from Mother earth before planting, using the Reiki water which we had carried, setting positive and nurturing intentions and they were quite intrigued. We were each given one seedling and I have shared the above photos of Abhilasha and I following the steps. The volunteers from Earth Keepers and the MCA were surprised and happy to learn about the way LHSG does the planting. I will share the script with them and they will engage with us for future projects.
At the end the group chanted Om for 15 minutes to bless all the trees and mother earth.
I really look forward to doing many more tree planting sevas with our special steps and guidance from our dear Kamalji.
Abhilasha Tak: LHSG Kenya: Nairobi
I planted about 8 saplings with all the steps Kamal ji explained in the Thursday meeting. The other volunteers also planted theirs with positive intentions when they saw us doing so.We also asked blessings from Vandevi’s (Mother Earth who lives in the trees and forests) for all the saplings planted today.
Here is a seva of a different kind done by our LHSG Reiki member healers in India and Kenya
On 13th June, 2025, I asked our JaisalmerIndia member Ranjharam if we could get the children together to do the Grief Reiki healing and Reiki blessing of the souls that passed away a day ago, in the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad, India that took place on 12th June 2025. He agreed.
I joined them online. First I explained about souls needing to ask for forgiveness from their loved ones, and vice versa, the loved ones needing to ask for forgiveness from their loved ones who have passed away, blessing the souls to go with the Light, and finally, sending Reiki to the families and loved ones.
The children, Ranjharam and Sidra and Kheraj did a splendid job sending Reiki. The whole session took more than 20 mins!! Below is a video I took as the session was in progress.
I am very grateful to our Jaisalmer members for doing this silent Seva.

Then, the next day, 14th June the same Grief healing seva for the Ahmedabad plane crash victims was done by our Delhi Hindu refugees group members!
This is the first time that our Delhi member Teacher Vikram has done this kind of healing, and he has done a fantastic job of guiding the Hindu refugee children members in this seva. My pranams to him!

Now our third grief healing seva! On Saturday 14th June, at 12.30 pm Kenya time, with the help of Teacher Vincent, I had completed part 1 of the Reiki level 2 training for our dear Mukuru children Members.
They straight away wanted to do the grief healing seva for the Ahmedabad plane crash victims. It was so heart touching to know that sitting in Kenya, far from India, they and their teacher Vincent were keen to do this seva!!
But it was already late, so we had to give it a miss. But, they didn’t want to postpone it for long, so . . . . Guess what?? On Monday 16th, they actually sat after school and did this GT healing, in full measure. The 53 newly attuned Reiki 2 healers were joined by their friends who had done Reiki 2 a year ago! A total of more than 100 children Reiki healers shared their Love and Light with the souls that had perished and their loved ones, all the way across the Indian Ocean, in India!!
All this was possible because we have some super teacher healers in Mukuru, Enock (Head) Vincent, (deputy) Omondi. . .
