What did Lotus Healing Seva Kenya Group do on Friday 15th February 2013? You guessed right …… We held another Reiki Level 1 Camp for 19 girls from the Hawkers Market Girls Centre in Nairobi.
We started at 9.30 am and finished at 1 pm. After hearing the history of Reiki, they learned about their chakras, and did self healing. As usual, the program included a lovely lunch of vegetable hot dogs, samosas, brownies and a juice drink.
The newly attuned channels went away fascinated by the wonderful energy in their hands!
The LHSG sevaks who did this seva were: Mamta, Punita, Shariffa, Anuradha, Shalini, Nargis, Nalina and Kamal.
The second part of the Reiki camp was done on Thursday 21st February when they were explained the theory of Reiki and trained to give hands on healing to others.
During the three years we have been associated with the Hawkers Market Girls Centre, we have attuned 60 girls from the centre. And with pride and joy in our hearts we announce that this camp brings to 25 the number of Free Reiki camps LHSG has carried out in Kenya!
