For the 4th year running, we conducted the annual Free Reiki Level 1 camp in Nairobi. The venue was the Shree Navnat Vanik Mahajan Hall on General Mathenge Drive.
More than 70 people, men, women and children came bright and early on the 14th morning, ready to welcome the beautiful energy of Reiki into their lives.
After hearing the history of Reiki, going through the Five Principles of Reiki, learning about the chakras and their positions on the body, they were ready to receive the attunement of the Reiki energy. All lay down on their mats on the floor and gently meditated. After the attunement was over, they had beautiful experiences to share: energy going up and down their body, a feeling of floating, warmth in their hands and in their body, seeing colours, an energy spiral around them ………. Next they did self Reiki and once again some were blessed with feeling the presence of their Guides!
After a light meal, they settled down to doing one on one Reiki and experienced the wonderful benefits of receiving a hands on full body healing.
Although the camp was free, energy exchange was made by donating for charity.
