Following our Seva No. 5 two weeks ago, giving Reiki to the disabled Children of Compassionate Hands Home in Ruai two weeks ago, LHSG decided to train Ann, who runs the home and 3 teachers and 1 clinical officer from the home in Reiki.
So on 13th November, the five of them came to the Aga Khan Primary school in Parklands where Shariffa and Kamal attuned them to Reiki Level 1. A friend of Shariffa, Jane Kagiri also joined in for the training.
As always, it was a joy to see the look of wonder on their faces as they realized the healing power in their hands! They did self healing and healing others, and by the end of the camp, they happily reported their aches and pains had disappeared completely… no surprises here!
Before we concluded the camp, they promised to continue their self healing everyday and to give Reiki to all the children in the home.
And so LHSG Kenya finished its 37th Reiki camp bringing the number of those attuned to all levels of Reiki in Kenya to 1182.

Kamal Tolia had been approached by Ashwin Brothers, an auditing firm in Nairobi to give a workshop on Ho’oponopono Forgiveness to its 50 employees.
The workshop took place on 25th November 2014 at the company’s offices in Westlands. After explaining the steps of Asking for Forgiveness, and of the importance of Forgiving and Letting Go, Kamal explained the meaning of Ho’oponopono, which is Hawaiin for ‘setting things right’.
Next the audience was taken through exercises for asking for forgiveness and forgiving and letting go while reciting the four sentences of Ho’oponopono: ‘I am Sorry, Please Forgive me, I Love you, I Thank you.’ So powerful are these sentences that many reported feeling forgiven and having let go as well!
Kamal ended the workshop by asking them to use the four sentences every day, in order to connect with the divinity within themselves, and so that divine inspiration flows in their life.

Kamini ……
My dearest kamal
The 9thYr of LHSG seva came to a roaring conclusion in Mumbai
On the occasion of children’s day that is the 14th Of nov (chachaJawaharlal Nehrus Birthday) we (manisha kirti palak Maitre and myself)sponsored a lunch for 70children of road labourers.this is an ngo Vatsalya
We said a prayer with them sang with them gave them collective Reiki and to their food and then we served the food to them.the innocence of the children is heart warming .Some kids took more Reiki than others
We then went to an adjacent ngo om creations for special passengers and gave them Reiki individually . It was so nice to see them receiving it they sat completely still. It was very admirable and responded saying that they felt very good after the session.we also gave Reiki to 2 care takers who asked for it.There were many hugs at the end .The love of these little souls over powers u and to see such genuineness in today’s world is very comforting
On Saturday that is the 15th 10 of us healers met at kirtis house and had a Reiki meeting (this was the 1st meeting that these healers had) the earth took a lot of healing that day.The group has decided to meet twice a month on 2nd And 4th Saturdays.
Tathastu love and light
Kirti ….
Namaste Aunty,
Before I write this I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Almighty, The God for giving me what I have today.
Now you might be wondering why this all of a sudden ?
The reason is our visit to the street children foundation, The Vatsalya Foundation and the centre for down syndrome people, Om Creations.
I would like to talk about the street children first.
There may be around 90-100 children on that day and it was children’s day.
We had sponsored the lunch for them for the day on behalf of our LHSG.
When we went there the children were doing drawing and making cards for each other and seeing us they came to show us their cards.
They were so disciplined and made me wonder how.
There was a cute small boy who caught my attention who was sleeping on the floor unaware of the happenings in that room.
He was so cute. The other children were busy showing their cards and the elder girls were helping the staff there in arranging the tables for the food to be kept there.
The kids were asked to sit in the open space outside so that we could introduce ourselves and give healing to all.
They all took lot of healing. My daughter, Palak Kamdar, started healing and within a minute broke into tears and cried a lot and after a good break she continued healing.
After the healing some kids came up and sang some songs.
And then was their time for lunch.
We also helped in serving the food.
And we moved from there later thanking them for letting us do the seva.
Opp to this place was Om Creations, centre for down syndrome people.
We went there, spoke to the caretakers and sought permission for giving healing to them which they readily agreed.
We gave hands on one by one to all of them and they took very well.
They were so well behaved and so friendly and I thought why cant the normal people be like them.
The staff showed us the items made by these people.
There were bags, embroidered batuas, chocolates, tea coasters, paintings, etc.
The caretaker head asked us to continue our visit and we have decided to visit them regularly.
Palak ……
Hello aunty,
Palak here…
This is in regard to the Vatsalya foundation experience.
When we went there and saw those kids, I felt very overwhelmed because I anyways love kids, but when we started giving them Rieki, I started crying and could not control myself. They were all seated in a group like students are generally made to sit in an auditorium, and the minute I started giving them healing and started saying the symbols I could not continue for long and burst into tears. I don’t know why that happened though. Then I calmed myself and thought that I should give it a try again, but the same thing happened. But this did not happen at the down syndrome institute. There everything went smoothly for me… 🙂
Maitri ….
