The place is a little semi open space in the Hindu Refugee Camp in Adarsh Nagar, Delhi, India.

The day and date is Monday 30 September and Tuesday 1^st October 2024

The event is a Reiki Level 1 Training camp for 30 children of newly arrived Hindu refugee families in Bharat.

I had the wonderful opportunity to uplift these sweet young children with the sweet vibrations of Reiki. We started with a brief introduction of Reiki and our Param Guru Mikao Usui, then an explanation of the chakras and energy system of the body, followed by the attunement. And then the Self-Healing.

The next day, 1^st October, they were back again, to do partner healing, followed by doing group healing to a few elderly and middle aged members of the Hindu Refugee Camp that needed healing. They were given a lunch of rice, chick peas curry, and a ras gulla, to which they gave Reiki and gratitude before eating it!

Throughout the training, we had our Hindu bhajans and mantras playing softly in the background, which enhanced the spiritual flavor of the atmosphere.

What more can I add? These children of between 7 to 10 years, did this seva totally unconditionally! Little hands of little children became huge blessing hands in one day, as the testimonies of the recipients will show!

What a superb gift for these God’s children within a few weeks of arriving in Bharat!!

My gratitude to Vikram Lalwani, the Hindu Refugee Camp teacher for organizing this camp, and to Hariomji Sahoo, the overall manager of the refugee camp for his total support to me. Without their help, this Reiki camp would not have happened.

Dear Subscriber, the training was conducted in Hindi, the language of the children and India. But let that not put you off from watching the slide shows and videos. Their actions and expressions speak louder than words, and I am sure you will get the gist of everything! And one thing more: the previously trained approximately 70 children were also part of the Reiki training!

Just behind Mukuru Kenya Outreach Academy, the School that LHSG has been supporting, lies riparian land, through which the Ngong river passes. During the recent excessive flooding, the slum dwellers in this area had to relocate permanently. The place looked deserted, sad and uninteresting …… but not for long! For the Head teacher Enock Nyanyanga and the Deputy head teacher Vincent Muema came up with the suggestion that we plant trees there.

So we all went into action …… Lotus Healing Seva Group International members sponsored 150 trees, and our Mukuru LHS(Y)G children very excitedly planted them all on 20^th September! LHSG member Jashu Shah and I helped the children plant 3 trees in the school compound. All done the LHSG Reiki way, including asking forgiveness from Mother Earth and chanting our Hindu Mantras.

The trees planted were Wambugia, Bishops Wood, Australia Flame, Jacaranda, Thika Palm, Nandi Flame, Aloe Africana, Alcalia, Macamia, Mutundu, Mutukuyu.

The children have continued with the after care, watering with Reiki blessed water, and blessing the trees with Reiki, and chanting the mantras.
