Seva 33 Nairobi, Kenya

I visited a past LHSG member, 90 years old, whose neuro disorder PSP condition was deteriorating. She is now on bed, unable to eat orally and cannot talk. It was painful to see the once active woman go down like this. I gave her hands on healing and she reacted well, to the family’s surprise. Her son told me there is no movement in her body and at that, she immediately moved her legs! I kept talking to her while giving Reiki, but wasn’t sure if she was understanding anything, as she kept looking at me. I told her, if she can hear me, and was happy with me giving her Reiki, she should tell me by blinking her eyes. She blinked! And moved her legs and tried to move her one arm slightly. I reminded her that she had learnt Reiki and Ho’oponopono, and she blinked again. Then I started doing Ho’oponopono loudly with her and she had tears in her eyes. I told her she will be free from her suffering soon and I will visit her again to give her healing and she closed her eyes felt assured. Later, her son told me he has been trying to move her limbs for her, and was pleasantly surprised at her progress. I am so grateful that I could help ease someone’s pain a little bit and give comfort.

Bijan Popat:

This is my pet dog, Akela Popat, who I have had since five years. He has taught me unconditional Love! When giving healing to Akela, I intended that it reaches all dogs in the Universe too!

Seva 35 Nairobi, Kenya

Bubbles and Deepu:

Giving Reiki to an elderly 84 year-old lady suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and other old age issues. In the 10 minutes session, they both held her hands lovingly and let the Reiki flow as they lovingly chatted with her in soft voices. Bubbles: it was a privilege to give a little comfort to her. Deepu: it was heartening to be able to do this seva.

Seva 36 Naivasha, Kenya

I was in Naivasha for a wedding and being with nature was a great opportunity for seva. Doing healing and forgiveness with the plants, with Mother Nature and all the plants in the world. I hugged the trees as well and gave my thanks to them for their being. It felt very humbling and satisfying. Healing the waters of the world at Lake Naivasha and then healing the birds, the mountains and the trees. Since Laveena and Mamta were also attending the same wedding- after the wedding ceremony I invited them to join me for a group healing and it was a non-stop healing. We left this healing of the flora and fauna open ended as it was time for us to return back to Nairobi. I felt a deep sense of gratitude to do this healing.

Our LHS(Y)G youth group member children of Mukuru Outreach Kenya Academy Reiki bless and water their three plants which they planted the LHSG Reiki way, in November last year. The watering is accompanied by the chanting of Om Shanti ….

Seva 38 Delhi, India

The baby calf was feeling very cold. Our LHS(Y)G Youth group members, Hindu refugee children in a refugee camp in Delhi, give Reiki to this calf and her mother. But they did more than that before. The calf had fallen in a ditch and couldn’t get out, the girls took her out, took her home, gave it milk, kept it warm, gave it Reiki, after which she could stand and walk, and they took it back to the Mum! These refugee children who don’t have much in material wealth, show us how rich they are in sharing their love and light!

Our 20^th year of celebration continues to be busy, with sevas done in these countries: India, South Africa, UK and Kenya!

Seva 27. Nairobi, Kenya: Grief Trauma healing was done by members Pratima and Kamal (had to wear masks because the family had bad cold viruses) for a family in Kenya that had lost a loved one. One little child had been in shock and was not eating. 5 members of the family plus two househelps received hands on Reiki. All this was done to a back ground of shrill whistling of 2 pet African Grey Parrots in a huge cage! So we blessed them too with Reiki. They sat perfectly still, on their perches, in a perfect receiving mode!

We followed this with Ho’oponopono between them all and departed member. Lastly, we explained the Nirvana Shatakam to them and we all sang it for the ‘mukti’ of his soul. We were then asked to send distant grief healing to another member who was at work and another in Australia. We did that.

A Reiki healing was needed; and we were able to do it. We felt we were in perfect flow, at the right time, in the right place, for the right reason. . . .

She is India member, 9 year old Poonam, A Hindu Refugee girl. This stray female puppy was injured by a male cow, had blood coming out of its mouth, was yelping, and was coughing a lot. Poonam saw it all. And she did more: she held the dog lovingly and gave it Reiki. . . . 4 times the first day!! after which the puppy felt a lot of relief!! And then Reiki again the next day . . . And as u can see, the puppy is completely healed!!

Thank u dear Poonam!! And thank u India member Ranjharam for teaching these children compassion for all living beings.

Member Anuradha Nath: Today morning I went for a walk on the beach and I did healing of the water of the whole world. And asked forgiveness from all the water in the world and ended up with River Mantra.

Ten yr old member Payal gives Reiki to 8 yr old member Sandhya. Sandhya’s arm had got badly burnt when hot tea had fallen on it. Payal says she has been giving her Reiki since 2 days, morning and evening and she is better.

Member Indira Shukla: I took this video last week . While I was on my daily walk I noticed that this tree needed healing. I gave it Reiki, and also intended that the Reiki reaches all ailing trees in the world.

Member Anuradha: I went for Penguin viewing in Cape town: sent Reiki to them to be protected and safe all the time and to fulfil their life purpose. And expanded this healing to all Penguins in the world.

We continue with our sevas for the five elements of Mother Earth, for animals, for trees, for the sick and elderly, and for the grieving.  Here come our next 8 sevas

A family that had lost a loved one, receives full body Reiki, is helped to do Ho’oponopono Forgiveness, and explained the Nirvana Shatakam Hindu verses for the healing of the soul, after which we chanted the verses. This seva was done by LHSG Kenya members Monica Gokaldas, Laveena Keswani, Pratima Dutt, Jaya Nainani and I, Kamal Tolia.

LHSG UK members Dipakbala Shah (UK in charge), Savita Karekar, Mala Tolia, Gus Ibarra, Bharti Nandy, Runi Phugada, Indira Shukla, do hands on Reiki healing seva for the elderly that visit the Jalaram Temple at Greenford, UK.

Unfortunately, the 150 trees planted by our LHSG Mukuru teachers and children members last year, had been uprooted and stamped out of existence by excavators. So, together with member Vincent Muema, Deputy Head teacher, I connected with the children members online, and we went through doing ho’oponopono forgiveness from the trees and the importance of trees, etc.

These 8 sevas bring to 26, the running number of 20^th anniversary sevas we have done so far, and counting!

December 2024 saw the start of 20 years of Reiki Sevas done by members of Lotus Healing Seva Group in different parts of the world!

We decided to record each seva, even the small ones like giving Reiki to nature and animals as well as planting trees, healing individuals for small injuries to giving Grief healing to families.

So here come the first few, done in December 2024 and early January 2025: 18 in number for starters, in the first few weeks! From Kenya  to India to Australia!

1. Nine-year-old Zurich member Rohan Tolia planted a mango tree and a Rudraksh tree in Nairobi, the LHSG way, using Reiki and our Hindu Mantras.

2 & 3. Rohan and I, Kamal Tolia blessed trees that have been planted in the Karura forest for every person that died during the terrorist attack on the Westgate shopping mall, and gave Reiki to their souls. I also Reiki blessed a spindly tree with love and commanded the healing to be activated for all such trees that needed it in the world.

4. Shila Shah LHSG Kenya planted 3 Rudraksh trees in her garden the LHSG way, using Reiki and our Hindu Mantras.

5 & 6. Our LHSG India (Jaisalmer) memebrs give Reiki to animals, while our youngest LHSG member 5 year old Rakhi gives Reiki to a weak Tulsi plant in her house in Jaisalmer, India

7. LHSG Australia member Rajinderpal Walia Gave Reiki to trees burnt in Discovery Park in Perth, and to the lake and birds and kangaroos, AND, sent Reiki to the mindset of the girl who set the trees alight

8, 9 & 10. Our LHSG India, Delhi children members water and bless their trees with Reiki, and Reiki bless and feed pigeons and stray cows.

11 & 12. LHSG Founder member Monica Gokaldas Reiki blesses trees in Karura Forest, and she and her family do Ho’oponopono Forgiveness for the Lily Lake in Karura Forest.    

13. LHSG Kenya member Bubbles Dhadialla Reiki blesses the Indian Ocean from a beach on Mombasa Kenya, Sending healing to our oceans and the endangered marine life.
14. LHSG Kenya member Shariffa Keshavjee blesses trees and bushes in her house and on her street.

15, 16 & 17. LHSG Kenya members Laveena Keswani, Sonal Patel and Anuradha Nath Hug and Reiki bless trees in a twin river picnic spots, in Langata, and in the Mount kenya region where the trees are 500, 400 and 1000 years old. twin river resort,

18. Rohan Tolia Reiki blessed a giraffe that had a hurt leg.
