Joan had bought bird nesting boxes. On 20th March, on the Equinox, she  blessed them with Reiki, so they become beautifully charged homes for the birds in this spring! She did more, which she explains in her video …..

Seva No. 45: LHSG founder member Monica Gokaldas, 15^th February 2025

“Yesterday I learnt of someone who said his mother (turning 93 yrs in March)  had a fall and is in pain . And he himself, 67yrs tried to lift her and since then has been in lot of pain- probably a nerve pull. Today I went to give reiki healing to both of them and they both felt good. Ramesh Bhai said he would like to come to Ram Mandir for LHSG’s Free weekly healing on Wednesdays.

Thank you Universe for this seva opportunity as it makes me feel so complete and useful. ‘Baa’ (Gujarati for elderly Mum), gave me so many blessings and said she wants to be well enough to start wearing her sarees again as she has never stayed in a gown in her entire life. Amazing mother: eye sight perfect, hearing perfect, no BP, no Diabetes, no Heart issues or any other issues. Her only issue is difficulty in speaking clearly due to no teeth and mouth shape changed with age and difficulty in plaiting her hair. She said the maid makes her hair but now she wants to cut hair like mine to leave it open and I found that so cute.

Seva No. 46: LHSG founder member Monica Gokaldas

7^th March 2025, I went to visit a family for grief trauma healing. This was the father in law and sister in law of the deceased (my patient AN who passed away last month).

I was told that the father in law was very concerned about her health and lost his memory due to a seizure a day before she passed away from cancer. Since then his condition has improved and he recognizes everyone but he has stopped talking and has just understood about the daughter in law’s demise. When someone mentions her name, he appears emotional but doesn’t cry.

The sister in law told me that they still feel the presence of AN in the house so I stood with her in AN’s bedroom and set up the sacred space, did Ho’oponopono with her and guided her to go with the light and carry on, on her onward journey. There was a sudden lightness in the room.

The father in law didn’t want touch healing so I sat them down along with the staff at home and read out the “Nirvana Ashtakam” and the explanation in English. Then gave them all distance healing collectively.

The father who had initially refused healing, looked at me thrice during the healing and calmed down totally, folded his hands in Namaste and lowered his head in acceptance. As I was leaving, he thanked me with a Namaste and waved a bye.

I felt very worthy of being a healer at this moment as even the staff said thank you for the healing and the sister in law said that now her Bhabhi has left the house.

Seva No. 41. Kenya member Bindi Shah:

I went to a turtle conservation hospital/ orphange kind of place in Bentota- Sri Lanka. All sea creatures like baby sharks, sting rays, cuttlefish, starfish, sea horses, and many others who are found injured, disabled, sick and unable to stay in the ocean for whatever reason, are treated, and kept here for some weeks, months and then released again into the ocean. Turtle eggs are also hatched and nurtured here.

These 2 turtles were found with so much plastic in them that they are so heavy and stay up and can’t float down to the bed. They were hurt because of the net and are disabled and can’t be released in the ocean now. A third turtle is 40 years old and had an accident with a boat and lost its legs. It too cant be released into the ocean.

After giving Reiki to all these injured turtles we went to release the babies which had hatched on 12.02.2025 on the full moon day. After releasing them I gave Reiki for their safe and successful onward journey into the ocean.

I also gave Reiki and said the water mantra in front of beautiful Indian Ocean. The sun was just setting and it was so peaceful with beautiful energies. The person who was in charge of the turtles brought 2 more turtles (than we had pledged for)  – saying that I know you are doing this with good intentions so I want you to release them!

Seva No. 42. Kenya member Sonal Shah

I gave Reiki to my friend’s puppies ….. they felt so good, happy & relaxed …… as I gave them Reiki, I was also mentally giving Reiki for all dogs worldwide.

(my response: Thank you for showing compassion to animals. It is true these dogs are not ‘sick’. But equally true is that they are ‘pranis’, that is living beings, and they love the Reiki, and need it as well, judging by the way they are so still . . Just receiving. And yr intention that the Reiki is for all dogs in the world is great!

Seva No. 43. USA member Kajal Kaneria

While I was on a carnival cruise, from Miami to the Caribbean Sea, I gave healing to the waters of the world and asked for forgiveness …..

On 18^th February 2025, I finished teaching Reiki Level 2 to the two nurse aides Florence and Grace. It was done at my home, over two 2.5 hours sessions

Sharing here their experiences with practicing Reiki 1, how their Reiki Level 2 attunement was and their experiences when doing the Reiki level 2 exercises, especially healing of the souls.

They were bowled over with the power of Group healing, and were very happy to receive the certificates.

This is our 20th Anniversary Seva No. 40!

LHSG Founder Member Monica Gokaldas carried out a Reiki Level 1 Training for 23 girls of the Hawkers Market Girls Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. She was assisted in this seva by Kenya Members Shariffa Keshavjee (founder of HMGC) and Pratima Parihar.

On 13^th February, we had a Reiki level 1 Training camp for 23 girls of the Hawkers Market Girls Centre. This lot of girls was very well educated, and they understood everything very well. Some had questions and I tried answering to the best of my ability. The initial diya (lamp) lighting was done by the youngest person in the room, as we, Pratima and I did our LHSG prayers following which I explained a bit of what our prayers meant.

They all loved the attunement and spoke nicely about it, though many of them were hesitant to let us record. So we recorded only those who were comfortable with the camera.

The self-healing as well as the partner healing went well and we had some positive effects of headache, joint pain getting healed. They all unanimously said they loved both, giving and receiving Reiki, and are eager to practice on others. Shariffaji and Pratima added to the teaching in between and they both were very helpful. LHSG Member Isabella (HMGC Manager)  was also well organized on her part.

I felt that by doing this seva, I have invoked the blessings of yesterday’s Magh Punam Mahakumbh Snan, and I feel happy to have introduced Reiki to these young women. Thank you Shariffaji for giving me this opportunity.
