Arya Samaj Elders learn about Reiki

Lotus Healing Seva Group was privileged to introduce Reiki to about 25 elderly members of Arya Samaj at the M.D.Bhavan, Arya Samaj premises in Parklands on the 7th day of March. Having been invited by Kamlesh Kent, I took this opportunity to give the talk on Reiki and its origins further explaining about the various ways Reiki helps one in their daily life empowering them to care for themselves at ease.

I was joined by my colleagues Anuradha Nath, Anju Gupta, Balvinder Dadhialla, Laveena Keswani and Shalini Srivastava who gave Reiki samplers to all those present with superb efficiency as I continued to give the talk. Once done, I too joined in and gave Reiki to a few members. We were short on time yet we successfully managed to give healing demo to each one of them to their satisfaction.

I give thanks to Kamlesh Kent and her team mates Bala Sharma and Rita Walia who conceptualized this useful morning for the elder members of the society and served us all a sumptuous lunch as well.

Reiki Introduction for Ladies Domestic Club

On Friday 8th February we as LHSG were invited to the Ladies Domestic Club meeting at the residence of one of the members to introduce them to Reiki. Three of us Neena Sehgal, Pratima Dutt and myself Monica went there on behalf of LHSG where I gave a brief talk on Reiki Energy, it’s history and effects. Meanwhile my dear friends Neena and Pratima started off giving Reiki samplers to the ladies one by one.

It was a group of 17 ladies of which only 3 knew about Reiki hence it was interesting to see their reactions upon hearing various aspects of Reiki and they were filled with joy to receive the hands on healing hands. One of the ladies was aware that her son had been receiving Reiki sessions from our team members at Dusit D2 hotel premises following the terror attack, hence she was very grateful.

This brings to 2919 the number of people trained in Reiki level 1 and 3786, the number of people trained in all levels of Reiki al over the world in a total of 165 Reiki training camps.

And so it is that LHSG continues with its mission of empowering people with the healing power of Reiki.

Today’s Reiki level 1 camp for the HMGC girls was smooth and seamless. With Shariffa Aunty’s guidance towards the girls, with Sharanya’s expertise on how the Reiki camps work, it was a breeze teaching these smart girls.

All of them very keen and eager which made teaching them a lot of fun. In all we now have 18 new girls who have joined us as healers.

Kamal Aunty, thank you so much for the opportunity and thank you Mamta for your guidance.
