On Monday 17th December, Sharifaji, Lata, Ketki and I were at the Dar-ul- Hafeez Home for seniors for a Reiki I camp which is run by a kind, compassionate lady called  Shanaz Kara. We had a total of 14 participants that included 5 carers. The participants were alert, engaging and receptive the whole time. Most of the participants said they felt very relaxed and peaceful during the attunement while some felt tingling sensation in their hands. The self-healing session went off well before we broke off for lunch.

Lunch was a scrumptious affair. Shanaz and her team had prepared an amazing, delicious vegetarian lunch of salad, chapati, dhall, potato curry, eggplant curry and rice and topping it with ice cream for dessert….. we were spoilt!

Then the partner healing session was again done well. They felt happy and very empowered to be able to give healing to another. There were two seniors who were happy to receive healing from their partners but when it came time for them to give healing, the lady felt with her fractured (but healed now) arm and weak leg of her right side, she won’t be able to stand as did the gentleman who wasn’t very strong on his legs and thus could not stand much. I encouraged both of them to give healing by placing their partner’s chair in such a way so that they could easily reach their partner’s chakras. I also encouraged Irene (the lady) to just place her stronger hand as this was better than nothing. I must say, both these individuals were very willing and went ahead with my suggestions. I felt it was important for them to experience the joy of giving in any small way possible. At the end of this exercise both these individuals successfully gave Reiki healing to their partners and were very pleased indeed with their efforts. I feel they will be more confident now and encouraged them to continue in their efforts.

After clarifying a few questions and taking group pictures, we ended this beautiful camp with promises to come back soon for Reiki II.

Shanaz and her team also gave a monetary donation to LHSG for their seva activities along with their customary blessings for our future sevas.

Thank you Sharifaji, Lata and Ketki for making this camp a success. Also my gratitude to Reiki and the universe for this opportunity to serve these wonderful group of people.

The Ronald McDonald House is situated about a 5 minutes’ walk from Perth Children’s Hospital. The home is a home away from home. Here families that have children who are critically sick and are in hospital for a period of one day to one month to one year can stay at no cost. During the weekday the adults and children that accompany the parents if one sibling is in hospital get a continental  breakfast but a cooked big breakfast on a Saturday and Sunday.

We had decided to do the big Sunday breakfast for the 40 people resident at the house. The house is situated in a beautiful environment ideal for children and parents. There are beautiful rooms especially designed for children to feel stress free and happy. They have a room for children with various activities.

We arrived at the house at 7.30.a.m.with all the raw items to cook the breakfast consisting of Fruit/juice, scrambled eggs, baked beans, sausages, hash browns and toast.

To carry out this seva were Jyoti, Bina, Rima, Rama, Deepy, Leigh, Preet, Naz, Suraksha, Varinder Amarjeet, Jas and Raj.

We started with giving Reiki and a prayer to all the food.

Once the food was ready a bell was rung indicating the big breakfast was ready.

We ended by sending Reiki to all eating the food and the whole house and the four hospitals around the house.

A beautiful Sunday morning.

Thank you Lotus Healing Seva Family.

13th Anniversary Celebrations Event No. 12

To mark the 13 th Anniversary of our existence, LHSG UK decided to give healing to nature;  water, birds , trees, plants , animals and Mother Earth

Bena Shah, Bhanu Shah, Savita Karekar, Indu Shukla, Lekha Quilter and Mala Tolia went to Osterley Park which is a National Trust run neo- classical house with landscaped park and gardens

There are 2 big ponds and a river running alongside the park

As we entered the park, there were some beautiful white cows to welcome us.

We gave them all healing

Next, we came across pigeons, ducks and a variety of other birds to whom we again stopped and gave healing

Next was the river into which we poured the Reiki charged water from our individual bottles whilst chanting ‘Aum’

We sent the intention that the river now charged with Reiki and the water crystals now vibrating with ‘Aum’, be merged with all the waters of the UK, Europe, the entire world, the galaxy, all the galaxies, universes and cosmoses

We all experienced an absolute bliss during this and a good 10 minutes afterwards at least as if the entire existence was enjoying this peacefulness.

We gave healing to the plants there and to some very unusual but beautiful trees.

Hugged the trees too.

Also gave healing to some horses who came closer to the park as if sensing something wonderful was happening.

We then sat on some wooden benches where we did our ‘order of healing’ protocol.

It was a very strong connection to our higher selves and beyond being outdoors, in nature and healing though the temperature was 3 degrees Celcius !!!!

Lastly, we poured the Reiki charged water into a very big pond, with the ‘Aum’ and again intended it to cascade to all, everything, infinity and beyond.

On our way out, the cows had come right close to the path, again probably sensing the great energy so we blessed them, and their calves and their families etc.

We left the nature reserve feeling fulfilled and elated. We then headed to a dosa place in Hounslow for lunch. A lunch very different to others as it was with like minded people therefore even more satisfying.

Thank you Universe, for this opportunity and thank you Kamal Bhabhi for motivating the group to drive these sewas.

Love and Light
