In March 2018, LHSG Kenya members Sheela Shah, Anuradha Nath and Shariffa Keshavjee had introduced the first level of Reiki healing to cancer survivors, their care givers and people associated with Faraja Cancer Support Centre. On Thursday 17th May, they took them to Reiki level 2.
Their story follows.
Thank you for your support.

Today’s Reiki II camp at Faraja had an attendance of 8 ladies. Assisted by our lovely nightingale, Anuradha, we eventually started at 9.35 am. When asked about their experiences after Reiki I, the ladies were only too happy to share. Josephine shared how she felt very good about herself every day; Amy (from the Ashram old people’s Home) felt she was more understanding and patient towards others and similarly the other ladies reiterated how good they felt with themselves being able to help others and themselves with Reiki. This was very encouraging to hear. With that positive note, I started with the introduction of the symbols. Initially the ladies found the symbols challenging to learn but with practice they quickly came through. Then after the attunement, self-healing followed without any hiccups.
We then stopped for a well needed 20 minute coffee break. During the break, one of the ladies shared how she had felt a lot of warmth around her abdomen when she had lain down on a Thursday (as per our instruction) to receive our distant healing. This experience proved to her distant healing really worked.
The second half went smoothly with relevant questions being asked every now and then. The ladies found all the various methods of distant healing exciting and quite incredible at times. Anuradha and I assured them that all these methods were tried and tested with real positive results. When the group healing exercise was done, they were amazed to experience the power of group healing. As we came to the end, group photos were taken and gratitude was exchanged. We managed to finish just about on time.
Thank you Anuradha for taking the photographs and for your indispensable assistance.
Love and light.
