I had taught Yashica 12, and Aarav 9, Reiki level 2 a year ago. A year later, they told me: ‘Please teach us more!’ So I edited the Reiki 3A manual and taught whatever was appropriate for their age. The dedication the kids had during the class was amazing. They memorized the symbols in the 3rd go. They did self-healing, partner healing, and certain things accurately, without making any fumble. My friend’s dog ( Bruno ) was not eating properly since the last 4 – 5 days. I gave him hands on healing & love, he went into a deep sleep for a while like a small child & when he awoke, he finished all his food. Very grateful for doing this seva.

Sending Healing to the Mara plains. To continue to be abundant to support life and wellbeing for all the animals she holds. Healing for the migration to continue happening each year into Kenya. No blockage between Tanzania and Kenya by the authorities. The game to feel safe and protected. The predators – lions, Cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, vultures, eagles, etc to be mindful and support the ecosystem by only taking out those that are near the end of their natural cycle and end their suffering. Have left the healing open ended. It is difficult to judge how to send the healing but hoping Reiki’s intelligence is far superior to us and it will know where it’s needed the most. This morning we saw a lioness that was limping and I sent healing to it to heal quickly and be able to look after her family and cubs.  The Mara is always very surrreal. So many species. Many are very interconnected. I sent healing for abundance in the Mara and for them to thrive and the plains to thrive as well. I also sent healing to all the animals in the world and their habitats to be safe from humans and other calamities. For the animals around the world to thrive and do well. Healing for them to do what they need to do. To achieve their life purpose and soul purpose. I have blessed the plains and by extension blessed all the vast plains and forests and rain forests and all habitats in the world for animals in the Mara and all the animals in the world – sick, injured, in distress or in pain or just fending for themselves and their young ones to be safe and to thrive. Healing also for the Elephants and all the animals that are suffering from poaching and living in captured situations like zoos etc to be safe.

Still on the roll, Lotus Healing Seva Group completed yet another seva with our Mukuru Outreach Academy children and teachers.

A Reiki level 2 training was done for 52 Reiki level 1 children + 1 teacher. It was done over 2 saturdays, 12 and 19 July. This was the third Reiki training we have done with them this year. Each time I connected with them on google.meet to carry out this teaching.

The wonderful result is that we have over 150 Reiki 2 healers there now, doing their part of healing themselves, healing others, healing relationships, the world, healing departed souls, and of course, healing our Mother Earth. They are now ready to make a difference in the world!

Once again, I give my thanks to Deputy Head Teacher Vincent who saw it all thru, and who also conducted a part of it for the first time. And a thank you too, to Head Teacher Enock for his support. 

I am humbled and grateful for being given this opportunity to empower young children, who are our future!!

Mikao Usui is the Founder Of Reiki. Even as we, the members of Lotus Healing Seva Group continue to celebrate 20 years of seva, we honoured our Reiki founder Mikao Usui on his birthday, 15 August 2025.

From USA, UK, Germany, Potugal, in the west, to India, Australia in the East, and to Kenya, UAE in between, over 200 LHSG members, adults and children met online to celebrate Master Usui’s Birthday. We blessed each member, sent Reiki to world issues, asked Forgiveness from Mother Earth, and carried out an ‘Etheric Havan’. Many positive wishes, and intentions were offered into the spiritual fire in the havan pot, blessed with Reiki, and they rose with the smoke into the atmosphere, spread over our Earth, and ……. And ……. ???

Greening the Earth is one of the goals of Lotus healing Seva Group. We have been doing it the LHSG Way, with Reiki and Hindu Mantras, since 2012!

This year, as one of our 20^th Anniversary Celebrations, LHSG members donated a total of 318 trees, which were distributed in three Hindu Refugee camps in India. Planting here served a triple purpose:

1. We gave back to Mother Earth
2. The trees planted would grow to beautify and purify the dreary atmosphere in the refugee camps
3. The fruit trees would bless the refugees with fruits, so providing the much needed nutrition.

The first place was the Hindu Refugee camp in Adarsh Nagar, Delhi. I connected on line with our Delhi member Vikram Lalwani and children members, and guided them in the collective planting. Visualising the holes as one hole, doing Ho’oponopono with Mother Earth, visualizing all trees as one tree, then going through all the steps, including thanking Van Devi, the Goddess of the Forests, all trees and all the creatures in the forests.  

Vikram Lalwani also repeated the process a few times, as they planted 40 trees in the pathshala (1 classroom school) area. The children also took a tree each, to plant around their tin shacks homes.

I repeated the same process with our Jaisalmer, India Member Ranjharam and children members. They too planted many trees our Reiki way, in the desert soil of Rajasthan.

Lastly, Vikram Lalwani helped to plant more trees in Signature Bridge camp, another Hindu refugee camp in Delhi. The children here are not Reiki healers, but just look at the enthusiasm they show for the planting exercise! A joy to watch!
