Seva No. 57
I received a call to help heal a cat, Cosmo, that had been through a very painful trauma. Hot oil had been poured on her back, she had infections, was rescued, placed in hospital and recovered. But the rescuer had her own 2 cats, Simba and Zoey, and of late the cats were not getting along, getting into fights, and had to be kept separated. The human, Deepmala was at her wits end, especially as she was soon going be travelling.
So LHSG members Monica Gokaldas, Harleen Gokaldas and I went to give Reiki to the cats, and to Deepmala and her househelp who looks after the cats superbly and the cats lover too.
The 2 cats Zoey and Simba didn’t take much healing, but Cosmo’s healing went on for about 15 minutes. Clearly, he needed emotional healing for the trauma he had gone thru, as well as the physical healing for the wounded areas, which were healed, but the skin was very delicate, not strong as normal.
Deepmala was very grateful and was very happy with the result of the Reiki on the cats, which she shares in a video taken by Monica.

With immense gratitude I share my experience of this seva.
I am not a great person with pets and wanted to challenge myself at least once, so I went along with Kamal. Harleen joined us as well.
It was lovely from the beginning to see the cute cats Simba and Zoey coming close and moving away from us, yet we continued to give them healing though they didn’t take much healing.
Cosmos on the other hand needed lot of healing and even though he wasn’t resting stable at one place we continued towards whichever direction he kept moving to. His skin, his Visudha (Throat) Chakra and front legs took a bit more healing than rest of the body.
Deepmala felt good with healing and relaxed after the healing as Cosmos continued to play around her when we gave healing to the helper Helen who had hidden grief and pains. She felt good with the healing too.
A very satisfying Seva.

Seva No. 58
On 18th April, LHSG Kenya Member Prafulla Ganatra and I went to give Reiki to a patient K in a hospital. He had been admitted with Kidney failure. We gave him full body Reiki. As expected, his kidneys took a lot, but we also noticed his vision was vey poor, so we focused on the eyes as wel. We also gave Reiki to his wife carer.
He was very very happy to receive the healing, and we felt immense gratitude to be able to share our love and light with such a receptive healee.
I went the next day as well, and learned that following a fall a few days ago, he was unable to stand, had fractured his femur, and had undergone a surgery. So he received healing there as well.
Seva no. 59
A few days later, I went to give hands on Reiki to the father of LHSG Member Kunal Daiya. He had been suffering from chronic asthma. Both Kunal and I gave him Reiki and also to his mother who has severe hearing loss. Later Kunal accompanied me to the hospital to give Reiki to patient K again. He was much improved, and welcomed our healing again!
