Please please may I share a miracle that happened to me yesterday. At 4.15 pm a small bird hit our window and fell down (I think he was pretty bruised). I ran

to help, cupped him in my hands and took him outside to lie amongst the grass. I did Reiki on him and even did hoponopono!! I I kept some bread next to

him and prayed that his family would come for him. Suddenly it started to rain very very heavily. I ran down to check on him, and saw he had hurdled himself

and had even moved to the shelter himself on the pebbles that you had energized when you came home. I patted him and wished him his highest good. This

morning I ran down to see if he was ok. He wasn’t there!!! Wow????

Wishing you all a very blessed 2017.   May the year be filled with abundant spiritual energies and growth for all group members.

I am very humbled to share with you all that though we weren’t supposed to go to Faraja today I was called there by Ulveena Darr for someone who needed

help. This elderly Yemeni (by origin) woman was in lot of pain ( liver and pancreatic cancer), unable to breathe well and very uncomfortable as she came to

Faraja Cancer Support Centre. I started doing Reiki and she started with her prayers as she wasn’t fully convinced as to what I did was safe.

Gradually, she was asleep, breathing normal and relaxed. It took me over an hour only for the front part of the body. Then she sat up as she couldn’t sleep

on the stomach. balanced her spine while she sat and I have finished now.   She is very happy and I am happy to have got this opportunity for this sudden

seva. She is traveling tomorrow and I am hoping now her journey will be smooth.

Thank you. LNL

(Shalini had gone to India for Ayurvedic treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis)

Reiki Story A)

I was in kottakal at Arya vaidya sala for my 21 days treatment for Rhuematoid Arthritis. Here all of us had a regime to follow. Evenings were our yoga

time ,there was big hall where who all wished to practise ,gather ed and a yoga teacher would guides us with breathing n aashans. We all were following

instructions n doing as asked ,i could see from corner of my eye that one of the lady in my row was not doing so and swinging before we could react to what

was happening to her she fainted I just jumped from place , reached her and started giving her reiki before others could run for water etc .she immediately

gained her conscious back and was normal soon , she was thankful and rest started asking as what was I doing (my favourite topic to talk about????) I started

explaining about reiki as how it works n what all we do . So we all landed up having reiki class then yoga class???????? After that incidents, almost every evening I

had little Reiki introduction talks in my room for people visiting me, wanting to know about Reiki!

Gratitude to universe n reiki for giving me more chance do seva and be of some help to others.

Reiki Story B)

Gratitude to the universe for sending more more opportunities to do seva

This time when i was in India for vacation on the flight to Hyderabad from Delhi. It was a 2hrs journey as I sat on my seat ,i noticed my co passenger a Punjabi

lady in her early 70s and i could sense that she was not comfortable so I offered her to use the arm rest between the two seats and be comfortable, she said

she is fine this way as she cannot lift her arm from shoulder and was under lot of pain due to the fall she had a month ago in canada and she was travelling to

to her daughter’s place for treatment . I offered her if it is fine with her to hold her shoulder for few minutes and she agreed as i started giving her reiki

tremendous energy started flowing from my hands n she kept on saying what are you doing i can feel your hands so warm i only smiled n told her that I will

let her know once I’m through .It took me good 15mins to finish and once i was over asked her how was she feeling then. She started lifting her arm inch by

inch and I could see her smile getting wider n wider . She was in real surprise as how this could happen as she was unable to do this before. And then whole

journey went on talking about reiki till we reached our destination . I promised her I’ll send her distance reiki every day and we parted our way with a smile

Thank you to Reiki because of which we are able to bring some smile and relief to the people in pain.

An Example of Gratitude Reiki Seva

The date was Friday the 13th, 2017. In a normal scenario one would be wary of the date and not venture out at things, but not for me those beliefs. In the second half of December, I had set up my mind to express my gratitude to The Asian Weekly for having published my various write ups sharing news ref LHSG and Sindhi Welfare Society along with my poems under the name Sikiladi.

What better a way to express Gratitude than by giving a session of Hands on Healing to the team of TAW.

I expressed my desire which was welcomed by them and on a mutually decided date of Friday the 13th January at 10 am I was there at their office. After exchanging the pleasantries I commenced on my mission. I started off with Kajal Patel who is very well versed with Reiki and understood my desire pretty well.  Gradually I moved on to other members of the team one at a time and the experience was very fulfilling.

To begin with none of the members were willing to share their problems or couldn’t think of any issues that needed attention but as i started off with giving them healing, I found myself asking them questions ref the areas that I felt needed attention. It is not surprising that what they hadn’t thought about but was picked up by me as a problem area was later confirmed by them to be genuine issues. Among those problems that I found hidden were grief, sadness, inability to express themselves, emotional blocks, back and shoulder pains, the feeling of being not loved etc.

I tried my best to help out and have decided to continue sending healing to this additional list of my requests for at least a month. Although all members of the team did not agree to receive the Reiki Healing I spent over 3 hours doing the healings as I wanted the satisfaction of the healer within me to give my best as my gratitude and a seva to begin the year 2017 and it coincided with the Hindu Festival of Lohri. Once again the Universe had planned it well for me to celebrate yet another festival the Reiki way.

I give my thanks to the management team of TAW who permitted me to conduct this session, my Guru Kamal Tolia who has instilled such attributes into me and my loving family who support all such seva breaks I take from my normal routine of work.

Here are some of the reactions I got:

  1. Kajal Patel : Thank you Monica Ji for a nice healing session. The energies were amazing.
  2. Nisha Hirani : The healing helped ease the pain mentioned to the healer. I feel energized.
  3. Ashish Patel : Felt a calm feeling and relaxed feeling with energies.
  4. Dhruv Shah : (it was his first experience of reiki – he felt back and forward movement inside him and I explained to him that it was Reiki energy moving inside him)I felt comfortable with reiki.
  5. Namrata Raghwani ( it was her first experience and didn’t know what to expect) I felt very calm and warmth.
  6. Hussein Jiwa : A warm sensation overcomes you. It was a pleasant experience. Thank You.
  7. Simon Muli : It was a relaxing moment for me in the midst of all the activities that otherwise keep me preoccupied

The camp on 29th December 2016 was a great success!

I was a bit nervous in the beginning in front of 16 strangers. I had met the host Neelam, briefly once and she asked me if I could teach her Reiki and I agreed. In a span of 5/6 days she organised the group at her place. Her husband and son (13yrs) joined in too including her neighbours, friends, relatives and 3 cancer patients who come to her saloon for wigs.

I called upon my group as I started with our regular Thursday prayers and sacred space . It centered me and I didn’t feel nervous any more!!

The camp went very very smoothly! The 16 students came on time and hence I could start on time . They were excellent learners and received the knowledge and attunement with a lot of openness and gratitude!

They had tremendous Reiki passing through their hands as they did self- healing and partner healing. They were very interested to go onto the next level too but were told to practice first!

They promised to do so and left very happy and grateful for the gift of Reiki!

They collected a certain amount for donation which will be given for charity soon.

I am feeling very grateful and happy for the lovely Sewa opportunity today!!

The Sacred Art of Planting Trees!

How easy is it to dig a hole to plant a tree? Quite easy.

How easy is to plant the tree in the hole? Quite easy.

How easy is to water the planted tree? Quite easy.

How easy is it to look after the tree till it grows tall strong and healthy? Now that is quite a tall order. Regular watering and weeding is called for and tender loving care!

Planting and looking after a tree is a sacred art. On 16th December, LHSG members Balvinder Dadhialla, Anuradha Nath, Laveen Keswani, and myself, Kamal Tolia went to Children’s Garden Home Orphanage and School, to impart this sacred knowledge to the older children of the home. These children were among the 90 children that had been taught Reiki Level 1 a week ago.

Each LHSG member, accompanied by a group of 8 (boys and girls) proceeded to the grounds where the holes had been dug.

First some manure was placed in the hole. Next, Mother Earth was apologised to for hurting her while digging the hole: Ho’oponopono was repeated 3 times, after which the hole was blessed with Reiki. The tree was then removed from the plastic bag and gently lowered into the hole. The soil was then packed around the tree lovingly, to the chanting of Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti … (requesting God for peace). Next came the watering … A little of the Reiki blessed water from the bottles was poured over the children’s tilted hands held lovingly over the tree so that it flowed gently onto the tree, while they chanted Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti … The next step was to bless the tree with Reiki as they wished positive thoughts for it, like ‘you will grow into a tall, strong and healthy tree … you will be a home for many little creatures …. ‘ Finally more water was poured at the roots of the tree, and the tree was named after two of the children, whose responsibility it would be to water the tree, give it Reiki, and generally look after it.

The children enjoyed the tree planting even as they carried out this Sacred Reiki ritual very seriously. They promised to look after ‘their trees’ well.

The trees that were planted were Mango, Avocado, Bananas, Loquart, and a Queen of the Night bush.

Before we left, in keeping with the Christmas festive season, we distributed milk, biscuits, sweets and lollipops to all the 170 children living in the home ranging from 2 – 20 years, and all the workers.

Please watch the tree planting videos and see the pictures that follow.

Thank you for supporting our website.

Wishing you and yours a spiritually uplifting Christmas!
