LHSG 17th Anniversary Seva Nos 3 and 4

Mukuru Outreach Academy is a primary school in the Mukuru Sinai Informal settlement of Nairobi, Kenya. Lotus Healing Seva Group has been associated with it for the past 8 years or so. We have been providing education support, in terms of school fees, school benches and desks and books. We have also been Reiki associated with them, …… have been training the teachers, and the children over 10 years in age, in Reiki Level 1 and 2 all these years too! Year in and year out, there have been Reiki graduates from this school, that can heal themselves and others, their situation and send healing for their exams, etc.

This year, quite naturally, the young Reiki healers went step futher: calling their parents to the school on 2 Saturdays and doing hands on Reiki healing for them! This result was overwhelmingly positive! Some of the parents’ reactions have been listed below. and the outcome of these sessions is that the parents too, want to learn Reiki! Ripple effect, no less!

All this would not have been possible without the support of the Headmaster Mr. Enock Obunga and the Deputy Head Teacher Vincent Muema, who bent backwards to make these two seva events a total success. Our gratitude to them both!

On both days, the parents and children Reiki healers were treated to ‘ bread and soda’, a favourite snack. Please read on for Vinvcent’s report followed by the parents’ remarks, and please do watch the videos of both sevas.

On 8th October 2022, The Grade 7 and 8 Reiki Children conducted Reiki to their parents and to the community members too. Our parents and the community members were very happy and glad to go through the exercise and their reports were very positive. Before,the parents confessed that they didn’t believe what their children were telling them about Reiki until Saturday when their own children did Reiki to them. Headaches, stress, body fatigue and different body pains were healed on that very day.

Then on 15th October, the Grades 5 and 6 Reiki Children did the same for their parents, with equally happy resuts!!

The Mukuru Fraternity and I are very grateful to the Lotus Healing and Seva Group for having taught us Reiki from the very beginning we joined this school. Again, on Saturday I was able to give the opportunity and the chance to my learner’s to exercise what I have been teaching them about Reiki. This seva was repeated on Saturday 15th October.

May the Almighty God bless you abundantly and always give you Madam Kamal and L.H.S.G more life to continue helping this young generation and the community.Thank you.

Parents and Community Members feedback:

I was feeling very tired and my head was paining, but after the session i feel better now. Before, at home, my children were always telling me about Reiki but i didnt believe, but today i can testify it is good, after my daughter did it to me.
* We say Reiki is good to usand also to our children. So i recommend it to be good, since our children can help us at home.
I was not feeling well, my head was paining, my body was very weak but after my daughter did this to me, i feel am oaky and can even run now!
(from the daughter ) When my Mum came here, her head was aching but after doing Reiki to her, she is okay now.
Okay, i always hear Natasha telling me about Reiki, but i didnt bother much about it. I was working overnight and my head was aching, but after (she) placed her hands on my head i felt better. Thank you.

I had a coldand nmy body was very tired … but now you can even hear that i can speak and am energetic again …..
I am mother of Ramsey, when i came here i had a slight headache, but after the pupil placed her hands on my forhead, i felt it disappearing. I feel relaxed and sleepy. Have even slept a little bit, because my body was relaxed.
That placing of hands on different parts of the body has made me feel good . Thank you!

LHSG 17th Anniversary Seva No. 2

One of the advantages of doing online trainings is that we can reach out to anyone not only next door, not only in your city or country, but across the Globe to anyone in any place or country! And of course Reiki graces us with her power of reaching across space and time!

And so it is that our little Reiki 1 farm workers children in Nasarpur, Sindh, Pakistan received the Reiki Second Level training over 2 Saturday afternoons: 24^th September and 1^st October. They were 26 in number, eager and excited to learn how to send Reiki to sick people, how to bless souls, how to heal relationships, and how to give Reiki to intentions.

These children come from poor families, and don’t have much to begin with. But as they do Reiki Level 2 self-healing, they will become rich with tremendous new possibilities in their lives.

Lotus Healing Seva Group is eternally grateful for this seva to our LHSG Member in Pakistan: Vikram Narain, who is these children’s teacher, and who bent backwards to ensure the smooth running of the camp on both Saturdays. Many thanks to his wife and sister who prepared the children’s lunches of potato biryani and kadhi and rice on the two days. The lunch for both days was sponsored by our LHSG UK members. Many thanks to them too.

LHSG 17th Anniversary Seva No. 1

Reiki Level 1 Mukuru Academy 10^th Sept 2022

It is with joy that I write this ……. This year Lotus Healing Seva Group celebrates 17 years of doing Reiki Seva. And we started these celebrations by conducting an online Reiki Level 1 Training for 70 children and 3 teachers in Mukuru Outreach Academy on 10^th September. The children met on a Saturday morning, were attuned, did healing on themselves and on their friends, and had a nice, filling meal of rice and beans. As in the past, all this was possible due to the dedication of Teacher and Deputy Head Vincent, and the Headmaster Teacher Enock Nyananga, both Reiki Level 2 Practitioners.

Hello Madam Kamal, first i want to appreciate the Lotus Healing and Seva group for the tremendous work and support towards the Mukuru fraternity. We are really grateful from the bottom of our hearts. Since the first day we learned Reiki our lives have been positively impacted through your wonderful and natural way of healing. The school staff and pupils are really grateful to you and the Lotus Healing and Seva group. Yesterday, the pupils were really happy and testified that the healing process was of great help unto them. Since it was their first level, they were really anxious to learn and believe me after learning, they were excited, some healed and they were yearning for more. As their teacher i appreciate a lot for your love, care and support you have towards our children. May the almighty God bless you abundantly and open more ways and support towards this young generation. Thank you!

LHSG International Celebrates Mother Earth Day!

The United Nations delegates 22nd April every year as International Mother Earth Day.

We at Lotus Healing Seva Group rolled up our sleeves (literally) and got to work and celebrate big time!

Fifty trees were planted by our little children in Nasarpur, Sindh, Pakistan. the children brought 25 trees from their homes, 25 trees were donated by our LHSG Pakistan Member Vikram Narain, their teacher. How is that for committed and sincere participation from them? Our gratitude to Vikram for teaching the children our Reiki and spiritual way of planting trees with Hindu Mantras! The children were divided into groups for planting and taking care of the seedlings every day!

Our children from Mukuru Outreach Academy in the Mukuru Sinai slums did Ho’oponopono with Mother Earth, and showed their love for Mother Earth by doing a clean up of the area outside a Market in their area, supervised and guided by their teachers. For sure Mukuru was a cleaner place when they had finished. The children were encouraged to keep their surroundings clean henceforth! Many many thanks to the Head teacher Enock Nyananga and Teacher Vincen Muema for carrying out this cleaning drive and inculcating Love for Mother Earth.
And the rest of us of LHSG International expressed our Love for Mother Earth by doing a number of activities for a whole week, 21st April to 28th in different parts of the world. From Kenya, to UK, to California, we blessed the waters, the trees, the plants … we hugged trees, we did Ho’oponopono to Mother Earth …… we watered trees and plants while chanting mantras ….. and we planted many plants and trees using our special Reiki and Spiritual way with Hindu Mantras. …. our littlest members 16 months old, 2 years old, and 3 and 4 year olds played their part by watering plants in their homes! A big thank you to all LHSG International members! For sure we contributed to making the world a better place!

We held a Healing meeting on line, in which we honoured our dear Mother Earth by chanting and reciting verses from different faiths and cultures after which we did a special visualisation to ‘green’ her with millions of trees!
