This year Harjot Sidhu and myself had decided to go and do some seva, consisting of Reiki healing and making donations to the two institutes known as S R.U.M.A. and C.I.N.I. Ruma deals with Palliative care and Cini with Child in Need.

The first two pictures are where the patients are first assessed and then a decision is made if they need to go to the hospice centre.

We spent three days at the Chundangan Hospice, where we managed to give patients healing and on the 4th day all the patients and family members were treated to a lunch of their choice. We also treated the 40 dedicated staff who deal with these patients day and night.

Then we spent one day at the Chittranjan National Cancer Institue where patients are waiting for hours to be seen by the doctors.

We had no words to express the dedication by the founder Director Santanu Chakraborty and his ever smiling wife, right hand partner in all his ventures Meheli. Behind these two are a group of nurses, Trauma management team, cleaners, guards and handy men. We managed to donate some funds collected in Perth for this very worthy cause.

Harjyot and myself have no words to describe the dedication we saw, it is easy to fund raise for Children and mothers but a very big challenge for Palliative care.

The last two days we spent giving healing to Children, who had gone through Trauma. Here we were restricted on photography due to Confidentiality.

We saw three Shelter homes: 1.For boys from the slums. 2. A shelter home for girls. 3. A shelter home for boys.

It was a real eye opener, to see how these children are rescued and stay in protection, till they are reunited with their parents.

Very grateful for the seva bestowed upon us by our creator.

Hoponopono Workshop

Our UAE in charge Kirtikala Kamdar held a special Ho’oponopono Workshop on line. There aren’t any photos and videos, but some very nice feedback, which she has shared below.

I had 9 people attend the Ho’oponopono workshop which I conducted on 13th December. I explained the technique. They did Ho’oponopono with one person who had hurt them and felt the emotion from high to going down. 2 ladies felt emotional. One was interested in healing the ancestors as well when i told we can do that . One lady said she felt very much connected with all that I said and was eager to start the process. They liked the process of connecting to the divine within.

Once we get relieved from the burdens in our heart we will feel free and tend to enjoy this god-gifted life wisely and live it to its fullest.
• I have a habit of talking to myself.. I talk with me in mirror like talking to a friend and sometimes I scold myself for the troubles I have put myself in.. Never have I asked for forgiveness from myself.. So I’m going to seek forgiveness from myself, forgive me myself and be happy with the guilt free Me. Thank you once again for showing us such an amazing way.

We are happy to report, that our 17^th Anniversary Seva celebrations are still going on across the world! Our UAE in charge Kirtikala Kamdar conducted an on line Reiki Training for people in Abu Dhabi, UAE and India, and our Kenya member Sakina Taki did the same for a lady in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania!

This brings to 4974, the total number of people we have trained in different levels of Reiki worldwide! Just 26 short of touching 5000!

On-Line Reiki Level 1 Training in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on 19th November 2022.

I had 12 people, 11 females and 1 male, for the Reiki level 1 online workshop today, some in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and others in India.

It was very good. Everyone understood the concept. The attunement was well received. One female felt golden flowers coming on her body and one lady felt different colors of light entering and surrounding her body. They did self-healing.

I have told them that we shall meet again, online, after 21 days.

It feels good to have this opportunity to teach.

My gratitude to Kamal Aunty and all for sending Reiki for the workshop.

Here are some of their experiences and feedback.

• I experienced a bright light running thru my head and going downwards.
• Felt the same. . . Felt warm and vibrations in palms
• I felt strong sensation in my palms as if something is passing from palms to paper. That sensation is still there even after washing hands…

In-Person Reiki Level 1 Training in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, on 28th November 2022:

Fatma fell into a deep sleep while being attuned. We took a little break after as she just felt loose in her body and out of energy but as she started giving herself Reiki, she was filled with happiness I could see a big smile on her face and she kept saying I feel so good.  She felt a strong flow of energy as she self-healed and after felt a lot of heat coming out of her feet. She felt enegetic and enthusiastic after giving herself Reiki.
