The Reiki level 2 camp at Faraja cancer center was a very special camp as it was Lotus Healing Sewa Group ‘s 100th camp !! We were super thrilled !
Punita and I had 12 cancer patients /carers who were very excited to go to the next level! They said that they have been healing themselves and could actually see how it is helping them immensely! One of them, a cancer patient, who had lost his hearing due to the cancer medications, actually reported that his hearing was coming back! Another cancer patient said how happy she was because she did not get tired on her recent travels, which was not the case before she learned Reiki!
They were very happy with the camp and promised to heal themselves and others! Besides learning to send distant healing they also learnt the importance of Sewa (unconditional service to others), the power of healing in numbers (group healing) and Sewa for Mother Earth!
It was a beautiful experience and my heart was full of gratitude, peace and joy -which only Sewa can bring! !

Note: With this 100th Camp completed, we have trained 2172 people to different levels of Reiki in Kenya, UK, Canada, UAE, India and Australia. Our intention now is to make that number 100 000!

The awareness that we are indeed in charge of our well being is a very big step forward. To be able to practice reiki on yourself is also a way to show compassion to ourself. We can go through life without this.
So bravo LHSG for this gift. Compassion for the self is often neglected.
Hen we love ourselves, we can only give out love to others.
