LHSG 18th Anniversary Seva No. 4

Our Seva no. 4 was: A Reiki Talk and Free Healing Session for all at the Raj Yoga Center, Nairobi.

The Brahma Kumaris have marked the 50th year of their existence in Africa on 2nd October 2023. The BK Africa have therefore planned a year-long celebration all over Africa over 54 Thursdays of various activities at the center. It is a privilege to both organizations BK and LHSG that we became the first ones to commence the trail of Thursday activities on their calendar here on.

We began by giving healing at 9.30 am to the in-house BK sisters who had travelled from various parts of the African continent and other parts of the world. Other invited guests in Nairobi also received the healing.

The Reiki Sevaks for the day were: LHSG Kenya members Pratima Dutt, Shariffa Keshavjee, Karima Jiwa, Sonal Patel, Bhavna Baga, Balvinder Dhadialla, Laveena Keswani, Deepu Mahajan, Prafulla Ganatra, Pooja Patel, LHSG UK member Jashu Shah, and LHSG founder member Monica Gokaldas and myself, Kamal Tolia.

While I gave the talk on Reiki, its origins, how it heals, its effects, benefits, its relation to our chakras and nadis, and answered various questions that were raised by the attendees, the rest of the members gave hands on healing to more than 50 people!

As always, the healees felt very good after receiving the Reiki healing.

Lastly, the Current All Africa BK Chairperson Sister Vedantiben gave a vote of thanks and led the attendees through a short meditation.

  1. Eighteen years is a remarkable feeling
Spreading love light and healing and teaching
As the healees relax and faces are beaming
An inner joy arises for giver and receiver
    What better gift than Reiki?
A privilege it is to be in a group that spreads,
gives and shares love and light.
To people from all over the world.
Perfectly organised in the lovely setting of BKS centre
