Today we had a Ho’oponopono workshop at Brahma Kumaris Raj Yoga Center, Nairobi.

The sevaks were myself Monica assisted by Pratima and Laveena and my daughter Bhavna who handled the power point presentation from the projector room as the remote didn’t work.

We had 37 people attending the workshop which had been condensed to fit in 2 hours. The attendees were interactive and reciprocated well to the practical forgiveness exercises and we had some emotional moments as well, but we were well geared with our pack of tissues to help out with the teary eyes.

We had senior representatives from a few  well known organizations amongst the attendees.

The session ended a few minutes past noon with a short talk and meditation conducted by BK Sr. Vedantiben : the All Africa in charge of the Brahma Kumaris.

She gave her gratitude to Kamal Tolia Ji for having given a talk about Ho’oponopono a few years ago and said that she had been practicing every day since then and encouraged others to practice it as well.

Thank you to Laveena Keswani and Pratima Dutt for being there. Pratima as usual was very helpful overall and also prompted me if I missed out something. That was so helpful.

Laveena helped with photography and conducted the exercise of asking forgiveness from Mother Earth and waters of the world flawlessly towards the end. Thank you so much.

I give gratitude for this seva opportunity.

Below is a message received from one of the attendees:

“Thanks Monica for inviting me to today’s talk. I am grateful to you. I know about Ho’oponopono and I did it with Kaka (Uncle) before I went to UK. I actually used to hold his hands and used to tell him I am sorry if I have hurt you, please forgive me, I love you for your guidance to me and I thank you. Then today, at the workshop, I felt good that I was said it to him while he was alive. It has convinced me to practice it even more.”

One Response to Forgiveness Workshop

  1. As LHSG traces forgiveness, it’s an opportunity to reflect upon forgiving ourselves and all in our lives. Especially our earth, water, air, fire and sentient beings and sit in the attitude of forgiveness. Remembering our ancestors too. Thank you all sevaks
