Lotus Healing Seva Group 20 years of Reiki Seva: Part 9

Seva No. 47:

Little trees that were planted 6 months ago, and protected with dry leaves and metal grills from the harsh sun and stray animals, receive Reiki from our India LHSG Youth Group Memebrs, Hindu refugee children, including a little 4 year old Reiki healer! This is happening every day in Jaislamer, in the desert state of Rajasthan, India.

Seva No. 48!

In November 2024, Kenya Members Bhavna, Sonal and I taught Reiki level 1 to about 30 children (10 yrs and over) in Umbrella Childrens Home for orphaned and abandoned children. The children need healing for emotional and physical issues, especially for persistent rash due to ringworm, etc.

Now here comes the wonderful part! These children have been doing self-healing EVERY SINGLE DAY, after supper! But wait! it gets better!! These Reiki healers also give Reiki to the other younger children in the orphanage, EVERYDAY too!! You can guess the outcome, yes?

A message from Boaz, the director / manager of the home: I’m glad to report to you that we do our Reiki every evening after Supper, precisely from 7:30PM to 8:15PM. On ourselves and on the non Reiki children. The kids are doing very well, most of them have improved in their health, their behavior, and in their General Body Presentation in terms of how they look as a first impression. The kids have been completely healed of the rash and infection, apart from two of them, in whom the fungal Infection has recurred. We are still doing reiki on them every evening. We are forever very grateful for Reiki, it is making a difference in the lives of the kids. The cost of medical expenses has also greatly reduced.

This my friend’s is our Umbrella Children’s Home LHSG youth group members seva no. 48!

Kamal Tolia: Azmina and I had the wonderful opportunity to give Reiki to 2 cats Molly and Ivy in a Foster home. These cats, especially Molly, have been thru a very rough time. First, Mollys all kittens died. After that, she has been through many foster homes, where she was not treated well. Now they have been with the present foster for 3 months, but will have to be moved yet again, as the carer has to return to the USA.

Ivy hardly took any Healing, but Molly needed a lot of Reiki. Especially in her root chakra (fear). When we started the Reiki, Molly just eyes us both, almost suspiciously, we were even prepared that she might jump at us. . . But as she experienced the Reiki vibrations, she visibly relaxed, settled down to receiving, and . . . when we had finished doing the back chakras, she obligingly turned around onto her back so her front was exposed, and we could do the front chakras!!! It was such classic a response. We couldn’t take a video, as we were both healing!!

As we gave her healing, Molly kept looking back at us, I also kept talking to her, addressing her with endearing words like: hello Molly, u r beautiful, I love u, …..  mostly, I said these in my mind, but I smiled at her quite frequently. ?

We also gave Reiki to the foster carer and her house help.

Please watch the slide show ….  Just look at how relaxed Molly is during the treatment, all stretched out and receiving! I bow down in utter gratitude for this beautiful opportunity that has come my way?

Azmina Mulji: Today’s experience giving reiki to Ivy and Molly was very extraordinary. Both the cats are very beautiful. Molly took a lot of healing and mid-way through she actually rolled over from one side to the other for Reiki and looked very relaxed as the healing progressed. Towards the end she closed her eyes and looked so serene. Ivy took less healing but she was very active and playful. And seemed very happy. The foster carer was very welcoming to being given Reiki and she felt very relaxed after we finished. Her Househelp as well received Reiki and was so relaxed she almost fell asleep. It was an amazing experience and I am deeply grateful to have been given this seva opportunity.
