Yes, we are celebrating our 15th Anniversary. And the children and staff of Mukuru Outreach Academy are celebrating with us!
Besides sponsoring 30 odd children in Mukuru Outreach Academy, Lotus Healing Seva Group has been Reiki – associated with the academy (a school for the children in the Mukuru slum area of Nairobi) since the past 5 years. We have been training the children and teachers in Reiki level 1 and 2. Many are the positive changes they have experienced with Reiki in their life. They have shared these freely in the video below.
LHSG is grateful to all at Mukuru Outreach Academy for staying true to the Reiki path. The school has adopted the Reiki Principles as the school prayer every day! Unfortunately, because of the strained conditions this year, we were unable to treat them to the annual fun day outing. So the next best thing we thought of was to treat them to some food that they like. Hence, on 29th November 2020, they were treated to cake, milk, green gram curry / stew and chappatis. They loved it all, and even sang Happy Birthday for Lotus Healing Seva Group!
Our immense gratitude to the Head Teacher Mr Enock Nyananga, who has kept the Reiki flag flying high in the school, and who helped in the planning, ordering and executing of this special LHSG’s celebration!
