Twenty second April has been designated by United Nations as The International Earth Day. We at Lotus Healing Seva Group added the word ‘Mother’. For we see the Earth as our mother. She is the nourisher and the sustainer …. The Mother of all Mothers!
So true to our calling, we did many Reiki Seva activities for Mother Earth, from USA to UK, Germany to Spain, UAE to India, Indonesia and Australia, and of course Tanzania and Kenya. Some of these were silent, behind the scenes ones, and some were active, and expressive!
Here comes the first of such sevas, done by Bena LHSG UK in charge, Lekha and Mala, both LHSG UK, Vincent, Teacher Vincent Muema, Teacher Omondi and I, Kamal, LHSG Kenya, and our lovely young expert healer friends, the Reiki healer children of Mukuru Outreach Kenya Academy!
The whole seva was done virtually. It started with sending Positive thoughts and wishes into bottles of water kept in the front, then giving Reiki to each of Mother Earths Chakras, thanking and asking Mother Earth for forgiveness, and describing what was written on the beautiful picture of Mother Earth made by our Kenya member Bhavna. The session concluded with the children drinking the blessed water. They were each given a copy of the picture which they would would bless with Reiki every day.
Many many thanks to the Head Teacher Enock and the Deputy Head Vincent, and Teacher Omondi, all LHSG Kenya members, for all their help in making this seva happen, and sending all the videos and pictures.
